Greek Life: Greek life isn't that big on campus. I mean yeah they throw great parties but that is about all you hear the Greek's doing on campus. Greek life isn't talked about much on campus because no one pressures you into joining, it is just a good way to meet more people. Nobody looks down on you if you don't join one.

Greek Life: Greek life involves some parties, but that doesn't matter because people are having parties all the time. It's not a big deal if you are or are not Greek. No one is treated differently.

Greek organizations are not a huge part of campus life, unlike what you see on larger campuses, but they do exist. Only a few of the organizations have houses, all of which are off campus.

You will find the Greeks very visible during large campus events such as Homecoming and Family Weekend. As members of the Greek community, sisters and brothers typically raise money for charities, do service projects, play intramural sports, party, and attend Greek study nights in the library. Students involved in Greek organizations enjoy the sense of family and camaraderie one typically receives by joining. The Greeks are involved in many service projects throughout the year; however, most students at Stout think the Greeks are more interested in partying. Greek organizations have been disciplined by the University in recent years for misconduct. Due to this fact, the Greek system at Stout is not highly respected by the campus community.
