4 College Freshman

Campus Food: At bridgeway commons you get the most bang for your buck, and even though the PSC has good food it is overpriced.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I'm in one of the nicest and newest dorms, sweet style. Even the traditional dorms my friends live in seem nice and clean.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: As long as you are quick in your searching for a house, it's pretty easy and not too costly to find a house. The campus has a search engine on their site for looking for off campus housing and its awesome.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of variety, all of them are fairly close, and different ranges of prices.

4 College Freshman

Administration: All the staff and admin are fairly understanding and friendly.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I didn't have to do much with my financial aid process, and I got all my extra money back as soon as possible.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: A lot of students are super friendly and everyone is welcoming

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The dining halls have a great atmosphere and there are a lot of variety of foods you can get, its just not the best quality of food out there.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I commute from my home, twenty minutes away from the campus.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I had no problem filling out my FAFSA and getting student loans. My loans were dispersed on time. My parents & I paid for the rest.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I don't eat a lot at any of the dining centers. I live in Rountree and have a mini-mart in our dorm. I buy from there and use the appliances that they supply for us.

4 College Freshman

Academics: My workload is heavy. I am studying hard to get a good GPA. I finished my first semester lower than I wanted to. I am working harder this semester to bring it up.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I am only a freshman. So far I am enjoying all of my classes. I am a member of the Civil Engineering Club. I know they will help me when I need to find a job.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I know nothing about the Greek life on campus. I am not involved with it, and I don't want to be.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I went to one football game. Our stadium is not that big, and not a lot of students attend the games.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I really don't eat off campus. I don't have a car to drive anywhere. When my mom comes up we go out to eat. The prices are the same as at home.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I have had no problems with crime or safety. I walk to the gym four nights a week by myself and have never encountered a problem

5 College Freshman

Administration: They do not tolerate any drinking or party's. My roommate was kicked out after this past semester for poor grades. They do follow up on this stuff.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't looked into it, but I hear it is good

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I like living on campus. I live in a suite with three other students. I didn't know anyone when I came here in August. I have made friends and like my roommates.

2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Overall i'm not that impressed with the party scene. You can find a good one once in a while, but it largely depends on who you're friends with. If you meet the right people it can be fun. If you ever need your fix of a good time and have friends in Madison, it's certainly worth the hour drive. However, the nightlife gets better when you turn 21 as many people go out to the bars.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Parking seems to be an issue that most people run into.As far as strictness, the campus is pretty lenient for the most part, but for somethings I feel like the campus can be strict.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't moved off campus yet so I can't say too much about it, but I've meet a few people who seem to be pleased with the place they found.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: For me the financial aid process went fine. However, I've heard some people have had a few issues getting the aid they needed.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: For me it took a lot of getting use to. The town has all of the necessities you need, but it may seem very small depending on where you're from. The people in the town are friendly, but to me the atmosphere is really boring, as there is very little to do here. Many people, myself included, will take a road trip to Madison or Dubuque for entertainment. If you really like the small town atmosphere, you'll like it a lot, but if you're like me and would much prefer a bigger setting it may take some getting use to.
