Overall Experience: Some of the professors that I have taken for general education credits have been very bland and hard to read. I have trouble studying for those classes because the professor doesn't differentiate between important learning material and just extra facts.

Overall Experience: The career center/services on campus are excellent. They work with you and your interests and help you find an internship or job that will look good on a resume and that will help you further your career in your field.

Health & Safety: I feel very safe walking around my school's campus. There are safety booths set up so if you feel unsafe, you can press a button and a police officer will arrive at your location and help you get home safely.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The social atmosphere at my school is very welcoming and accepting. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. It makes you feel like you're at home when you're at school.

Greek Life: I haven't noticed any difference in how Greek students are viewed by the non-Greeks. I live off-campus and that might have something to do with that.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I think that our fan support and school spirit could improve. Most women's basketball home games were lightly attended. I think that pep rallies would be a good way to impart school spirit to the student body.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would definitely choose my school if I could do it all over again because the professors are very helpful and almost everyone is friendly. An added bonus is that the campus is absolutely gorgeous.

Greek Life: As Greek life is not something for everyone, it is something that everyone can agree on when it comes to making a philanthropic difference, meeting new people, building connections to further your career, and becoming a part of something bigger. Associating yourself with a sorority or a fraternity doesn't mean that you have VIP access to the hottest parties on campus, it means you have access to a network of people who are involved in multiple organizations on campus that are bettering the community or the world and who are willing to show you the ropes on managing tough courses or being away from home for the first time. It's a community within a community that is dedicated to bringing people close together forming brotherhoods and sisterhoods. Putting the outdated cliches and stereotypes to the side, greek life is an outstanding opportunity to converse with colleagues, get involved, and network with those who can help you on later in life.

Athletics: Athletics at the University of Eau-Claire are a great way to get involved, meet others, stay fit, work on team work, and learn to balance different aspect of the collegiate experience. While there is a great emphasis to excel in whichever sport you wish to compete in, there is an equal if not greater emphasis to put schoolwork first and foremost. At UWEC, we strive to have our students show their multitude of strengths and show that they can be successful at more than just one thing. Out motto is "the power of AND" for a reason. When it comes to sports, our students can be both a soccer player AND a nurse, they can be a violinist AND a runner, they can be an educator AND a diver. It shows us that we aren't bound to just one title, you're destined to do more things in life than just a career or just a sport, we are a generation of multi taskers, changing the world in more ways than one.

Overall Experience: I've broadened my knowledge and my opportunities.

Overall Experience: Some professors are a little un-relateable, while others are generally funny and hoping to see you succeed. I'm indifferent on that. Class sizes are fine, but not special. General learning environment inside and outside of class is good and I have no complaints there. I do wish there were more courses available, and more spots in those courses as well.

Overall Experience: There's multiple job fairs on campus, as well as a career service center dedicated to helping you find a job. We even have some mandatory classes for the pre-engineering program that focus how to succeed in the job hunt and learning about social networking.

Health & Safety: We receive emails going over safety regulations at school and have had several drills throughout the school year to simulate an emergency. I've never felt unsafe on campus and am generally satisfied with the atmosphere and safety precautions.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The small-town atmosphere and compact school layout make UW-Eau Claire a very welcoming experience. Teachers and students alike are generally friendly and willing to help, and so far class experience has been positive. The school offers good wifi and printing services, as well as very helpful tech services. There's really not much to complain about!

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Some professors are god awful. Some are passionate with what they teach and love to help. Some act like they are there for the money.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Internships are a most in this school. It's what we are known for.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: We have a club that volunteers to assist people who have been sexually assaulted. It's very serious on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Bathrooms always could use some work. Tiny rooms, but what do you expect?

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Beautiful scenery. Everything is close-knit and easy to get to point B from point A. Lots of clubs and opportunities for help on various topics.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I'm only here for the academics, for I can do a triple major here.

Overall Experience: I think many people just overlook a degree from here as average.

Health & Safety: I feel generally safe on campus.

Campus Housing: I have had the worst experience. The bathrooms are moldy & I got put into a more expensive dorm off campus.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Everyone I know in Greek life seems happy and satisfactory with it.

Athletics: No one goes to athletic events and it effects the sense of school pride and community significantly.

The University of Eau Claire is absolutely amazing. Most of the professors here are very friendly and willing to assist you in your learning endeavors. Since the campus has such a small student population, you feel as if you get to know everybody around you. You make relationships with your professors, and they know you by your name. Also, do not be afraid to ask your professors questions. It makes the learning process that much easier.

Eau Claire is different from many colleges because it feels like a small town inside of a big city. This University is unique because people here care for one another. If you ever have a problem, all you need to do is ask someone around you, and they will more than likely be willing to help out. The campus is very welcoming and involved with the surrounding community. You will never feel left out if you join a couple of organizations and make friends your freshman year.

The University is beautiful, especially during the fall, so don’t forget that you can study outside on the campus mall. Students here just don’t focus on academics; they focus on having fun as well. During the school day, you will see students studying and playing Frisbee on the campus lawn. We are a very friendly campus here, and we enjoy meeting new people.
