Drug Safety: A lot of people drink, it's Wisconsin but no one is forced to but a lot of people go over board. There really isn't any big drug problem.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There are a lot of opportunities to find internships and get your name out there. And a lot of jobs really value the Eau Claire education.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Eau Claire is a very safe place and I have had no issues.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Towers can get pretty crazy along with Horan too. Governors is pretty strick both dorms on lower campus are very quiet and boring for the most part.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: No one really hears to much about them but they do some charity events sometimes and they do throw some parties, but there not as big as they are on other campuses.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Most teams are pretty good for D3. Hockey games are really fun to go to and is probably the most popular and football team is a complete joke and people only go to watch the band but the band is really good. All the other sports are pretty good but not really a big deal among the student body. A lot of people do intramurals and they are always a fun time.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's a great school, not too big or not too small with a great community. Most teachers really care about their students and are very approachable. There is a lot to love about Eau Claire but it's also really cold and can be challenging if your not willing to put in some hard work.

4 College Student

The University of Eau Claire is absolutely amazing. Most of the professors here are very friendly and willing to assist you in your learning endeavors. Since the campus has such a small student population, you feel as if you get to know everybody around you. You make relationships with your professors, and they know you by your name. Also, do not be afraid to ask your professors questions. It makes the learning process that much easier.

Eau Claire is different from many colleges because it feels like a small town inside of a big city. This University is unique because people here care for one another. If you ever have a problem, all you need to do is ask someone around you, and they will more than likely be willing to help out. The campus is very welcoming and involved with the surrounding community. You will never feel left out if you join a couple of organizations and make friends your freshman year.

The University is beautiful, especially during the fall, so don’t forget that you can study outside on the campus mall. Students here just don’t focus on academics; they focus on having fun as well. During the school day, you will see students studying and playing Frisbee on the campus lawn. We are a very friendly campus here, and we enjoy meeting new people.
