3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I didn't look at any houses, I just have heard a lot from my friends who got one

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I don't eat out that often

2 College Freshman

Administration: I don't think there should be check in, this is the only school I have heard of that does it and I think its pointless.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I didn't get any scholarships

Campus Food: I personally don't have a problem with the food other than there isn't much variety so I end up getting the same thing every night. I wish there were more healthy options, It seems like everything is pretty bad for you other than the sandwich place and the vegetarian bar. Davies food is good, I think there should be more block meal options and maybe 1 more restaurant place included.

Campus Housing: I like living in the dorms for the most part. I live in Towers, the few things I don't enjoy are the showers and how they never actually seem like they are cleaned, which isn't very pleasant. Other than that I truly thing the dorms are nice to live in for the first year or two of college and allows you to meet more people. I also like the amount of study areas there are in the dorms.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There's a lot of options for off campus housing, everything from a lot of different style houses to a lot of different landlords.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It's pretty typical what you'd expect in the city, lots of chain restaurants & then a few locally owned ones. Most of the restaurant options other than the bars though are located by the mall.

4 College Freshman

Administration: The campus is strict about certain things like drinking and drugs, however a lot of stuff they just let slide by! It also depends on what dorm you're staying in.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I had no trouble with financial aid in itself, I was able to get exactly what I needed. However, the financial aid office was a lot of trouble.

Party Scene: The party scene is definitely a hit or miss. On weekends there's either a ton of parties or one party, and the problem with parties here is they're all done by midnight. Cops seem to be constantly busting parties.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The campus food has it's good days and it's bad days. Sometimes you're really excited to make that Caf run for the day, like Mac&Cheese/Popcorn Chicken night, and other nights you think it'd just be best to eat in the dorms. Davis has a ton of great options to choose from, so no matter what you're craving it's probably there! The only thing is, I wish the food were healthier. They're really aren't many healthy choices around campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Campus housing is definitely an experience, it has both it's perks and it's downfalls. However, this year i've met a lot of really great people solely because of campus housing. I live in one of the friendliest, homiest dorms there is and I absolutely love it. Walking in and out of the building someone is always there to say, "Have a great day!" Everyone says hello in the hallways and it's as if we're all one big family!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: A lot of different options. Some fast food some restaurants.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: They are all really nice and you can tell that they want to give us the students the best education possible.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Not hard to get around the campus or area

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Could be better a lot of people bike because not many can drive and park

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: The wifi is slow, but there are a lot of computer labs

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I love all the food and the options available. Davies is ver cariety filled and I love that I have so many choices available to me each day!

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Beds are comfortable. Roommate isn't crazy. Free tv and wifi. People here are extremly chill. The turn up is real.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Getting in here was easy and I didn't mind the process

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I don't really eat off campus unless buying food from the grocery store

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm not really part of athletic activities but I've worked them before

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I don't really know I am not apart of the Greek Life

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I feel I should have received more

The University of Eau Claire is absolutely amazing. Most of the professors here are very friendly and willing to assist you in your learning endeavors. Since the campus has such a small student population, you feel as if you get to know everybody around you. You make relationships with your professors, and they know you by your name. Also, do not be afraid to ask your professors questions. It makes the learning process that much easier.

Eau Claire is different from many colleges because it feels like a small town inside of a big city. This University is unique because people here care for one another. If you ever have a problem, all you need to do is ask someone around you, and they will more than likely be willing to help out. The campus is very welcoming and involved with the surrounding community. You will never feel left out if you join a couple of organizations and make friends your freshman year.

The University is beautiful, especially during the fall, so don’t forget that you can study outside on the campus mall. Students here just don’t focus on academics; they focus on having fun as well. During the school day, you will see students studying and playing Frisbee on the campus lawn. We are a very friendly campus here, and we enjoy meeting new people.
