Off-Campus Dining

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Immediately off-campus dining options are extremely limited, and are virtually inaccessible during winter from the north side of campus. More dining options are available in downtown London itself.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Foodies will be greatly surprised by what London has to offer, especially Downtown near the bars. The after-bar options are vast and hometown favorites include Prince Alberts, Sammy's Souvlaki, and Stobie's Pizza (to name a few on Richmond). Prices and value are fair, and student discounts can be found at many places around campus.

Off-Campus Dining: Fast Food, and Still Fast Food. If you do not want to spend much much more to go the restaurants, then fast food is probably the only choice you can have. They are not too bad, but if you eat them all the time. Ohh...

Off-Campus Dining: Palasad's London Place to Be! Palasad is definitely the spot to be when with friends who want to kick back and have a fun eventful evening. The food here is great and they have really good prices. Hence why they are so successful. I can bet you any student attending Western knows about this spot.

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of off-campus restaurants to choose from. Many of them located are downtown, which isn't that far off from campus. As well, you can use your meal plan at a variety of these places, so extra money doesn't have to come out of your pocket. You can also order in, and a variety of places accept your mealplan this way as well.

For being a smaller city, London has a plethora of restaurants to choose from. The price truly varies, and students are more apt to go for the cheaper options. TJ Baxter's is a Western favorite, and the restaurant proudly supports the University with various varsity paraphernalia. For a more upscale environment, Moxie's provides a lounge-type feel with a diverse menu that is reasonably priced. London's restaurant scene also has many independent spots, which usually provide a pricier, quality dining experience. As far as great places to take your parents, The Tasting Room and Garlic's are well known for a unique menu and great atmosphere.

Restaurants can be found clustered in the downtown area and near Masonville Place, making for constant dining convenience. Italian cuisine is prominent in many restaurants, but all-you-can-eat sushi joints are also popular among students. Green Tea Sushi is packed on weekends, and the service is relatively fast. Places like Domino's Pizza and certain Subway locations accept the WesternONE card for payments, which is a bonus for many Western students. London also has many vegetarian restaurants, and Veg Out is a favorite for the health-conscious individual. Additionally, many of the coffee pubs like Williams Coffee and Coffee Culture offer reasonably-priced, fresh food. Ultimately, London holds many options for its students and residents, all at a seemingly reasonable price.
