Alumni Publications
  • Published three times a year, Impact Western informs graduates, donors, and associated foundations about UWO's current fundraising initiatives. The publication features annual reports to keep friends of Western in the know.
  • The Alumni Gazette is a quarterly publication that covers stories about Western graduates. Issues can be found on the Alumni Gazette Web site.
  • The Purple Flash Newsletter is an e-newsletter sent to alumni, students, and staff monthly about campus events and news.
  • The Western News is a weekly publication written by graduates, which is distributed on and off campus.
  • Young Alumni Magazine is written by recent graduates and provided to those about to leave Western as a transition tool into their role as young alumni.
Major Alumni Events
  • Class reunions are easily organized with support from the Alumni Relations and Development group at UWO.
  • Typically used as a time for class reunions, Homecoming is popular among alumni because of the many school spirit-filled events over the course of the weekend.

  • The University of Western Ontario's Alumni Association offers distinct groups of regional branches, shared interests, and faculties to keep graduates connected.
  • Western's Senior Alumni Program is the largest and longest running program of its kind in Canada.
  • Students are welcome to become involved with the Alumni Association from their first year on at UWO. Numerous events are organized connecting alumni with current students throughout the year.
  • UWO's young alumni program, Six Degrees, offers social events to recent graduates in major cities, including Vancouver, Toronto, and New York.
