This is a wonderful university with small class sizes and low professor to student ratio. The professors care about the students, and are willing to go over any misinterpretations. The rivalry with Bowling Green State University is very sportsmanlike and respectable as well. There isn't much to do off campus, because the area surrounding isn't the best, but otherwise it's great! On the weekends there is never much going on either which is sad because there are many students who live on campus, myself included, that would like something safe and fun to do on the weekends besides going to a frat party.

I'm really liking it here at UT! I love all of my classes and my professors are all very welcoming. I am able to visit them during office hours and email them whenever-and they respond quickly because they can. The school size is perfect-not too big and not too small. We have great programs in Engineering, Science, Business, Education, etc. and our athletics are top-notch (i.e. football team ranked in AP and CFB Playoff polls!) My favorite part is the Jesup Scott Honors College, which always plans tons of activities for Honors students and promotes great discussions among the small class sizes. The school is underrated by people who live in the local area and take it for granted. College is what you make of it! I'm commuting and like the school because I've gotten so involved and care to talk to my teachers! Tons of clubs, internships, on-campus jobs, etc. to consider. I would choose my school again because it is a good fit for me and provides a very supportive environment.

I love the University of Toledo! I am from Toledo, and everyone in Toledo acts like UT is the worst college to attend - I had this same view until I was sort of forced to go there due to financial aid falling through at another college I was planning on attending. But now that I'm at UT, I'm extremely happy. The people are great, my classes are interesting and rewarding, and campus is beautiful. The night life could be more fun, but getting involved in Greek life can help with that.
