Guys & Girls: There isn't really a typical student look. Student's are really diverse. It's not hard to find someone with similar interests as yours, similar dressing styles.

Guys & Girls: The guys are alright looking for the most part. But honestly, all the really good looking guys are either gay or in committed relationships. In my experience, the attractive single guys are jerks. So pickings are slim. Of course looks aren't everything. But still meh. Nobody has really stood out to me yet.

Guys & Girls: Different but Similar – There are many different types of peoples at the Ozarks. But when it comes to social life and looks there seems to be a lot of similarities between these differences. These similarities bring everyone together from mexican, central american, black, white, brazilian, and many others. Everyone is very inviting and dress anywhere from laid back to formal, no outcast here.

No one student is exactly the same at the University of the Ozarks. Everyone is pretty much “themselves." There aren't any exclusive cliques like in high school, but all students have their own group of friends they hang out with. Different groups of friends interact with one another without conflict. At times, the Central American students seem to keep to themselves, but they generally socialize all over campus and within organizations.

The female population on campus is significantly higher than the male population. The increase in female students on campus does not really affect dating, but lesbians are more dominant than gays within the homosexual community. Overall, the University of the Ozarks is tolerant of homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual students. There is promiscuity from all areas of the school, but it is not rampant or out of control. Resident advisers in every dorm/apartment try to keep the intimate contact between students to a minimum, but people will do what they want to.

Social Scene
For the most part, students are very active, but at times it is hard for organizations to get students to be involved, due to their busy schedules. Activities associated with outdoors, entertainment, and money are what attracts most college students. Also, a lot of students hold private social parties or invite friends home for the weekend.
Hookups or Relationships?
The dating scene is like any other college-it's fairly lively. Guys like girls, guys like guys, and girls like girls. The campus is very accepting of bisexual, gay, and lesbian romantic relationships. There is also a significant amount of interracial relationships. The amount of serious couples is much less than the amount of non-serious couples. In every school, random hookups occur, so this is a normal event at college in general.
Dress Code
Students usually wear whatever they want on a daily basis, as long as it's not inappropriate. When students have a presentation, interview, or a special occasion, they dress up in fancy clothes. Also, the University has winter formals and other dances that require students to dress up.
