Campus Housing: Love the options of housing. They are very nice and the place I'm staying in is very clean.

Athletics: Sports in Tyler are really big. I just wish the university had a football team though.

Campus Housing: The housing was so clean and close to being brand new! I loved it. There was such a sense of university pride and community pride that I hadn't seen anywhere. The RA's were so incredibly nice that I couldn't believe they were students! I also loved how close they were to my classes. I could wake up about 30 mins before classes and get to my classes on time, with a cup of coffee. On the weekends we had movie nights and plays that each floor would set up. I think I met some of my best college friends through this.

Greek Life: I was not an active part of the Greek Life scene. I had a few friends who were involved in that but it was something that never appealed to me. The Greek life on campus was very active. They were at different events such as plays, home games, big involvement in the community to volunteer their times and effort to make the city great. One of the amazing things about our Greek life was that they were known for helping others out versus just partying. I believe this speaks volumes for my university.

Athletics: Although, I never played any sports while I was a student I made sure to attend soccer games on campus. It was great for me because I enjoy soccer very much and getting to see students play for my school is a great sense of school pride. I also made sure to join inter murals if I had the time. Even though I am not athletic, for me it was more of a way to get to meet new people.

Overall Experience: I loved being a student. After working for three years I have decided to go back to school and get my Master's degree. I have also decided to go abroad and get my master's in France at INSEEC. One of the reasons is because I have missed school and the routine that it provides. I know the diversity and the amazing professors will help me succeed. The experience I had at UT Tyler was incredible and I hope to have the same enjoyable learning experience in France.

Overall Experience: The courses have been mostly enjoyable, and there's a sufficient variety to choose from. Most are lecture based classes, but some are seminar-based.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I'm not very familiar with this area, as I'm just a rising sophomore.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The administration gives informative orientation talks on the subject and take effective measures to ensure student safety.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I'm actually a commuter student, but I've got friends living in each of the residence areas, and they seem pretty pleased with it. Eagle's Landing is probably one of the best options on campus, although they require that the residents be sophomores at least.

Greek Life: I wasn't personally involved in the Greek Life on campus, but I had numerous friends involved in sororities and fraternities on campus, which they seemed to really enjoy.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Almost every professor is a professional and passionate communicator of the topics covered by his or her class. Abundant with resources, the university provides students with a strong support system to bolster success, and creates a community with ample opportunities to pursue individual goals.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors are so great! Student to professor ratio is very low and you get to know everyone really well.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Having a personal relationship with professors really helps when it comes to recommendation letters and advice about jobs and career potentials.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Several tall blue emergency posts have been installed in various spots on campus that dial directly to campus PD and Tyler PD.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: On campus dorm is great, on campus apartments are alright..extremely over priced. But close to campus.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: I have several friends participating in greek life but it is not as big of a deal as it is on some campus'.

3 College Senior

Athletics: Athletics are definitely present on campus but not a huge deal to most students.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: UT Tyler is a very unique campus with an amazing atmosphere! Very quiet and comfortable! The professors are always available for help and are willing to help with anything!

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: You see university police often.
