4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The closest off campus housing is very nice but somewhat expensive, so if you're looking for a cheaper apartment option, you might need to search farther away from campus towards south Tyler, but still that isn't too far from campus. I recommend renting a house with some friends or roommates, you can live closer to campus and don't have to worry as much about noise and close proximities with your neighbors, but with a house comes more responsibility. So it's basically whichever you prefer.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many local restaurants and chain restaurants to choose from. Prices range depending on where you eat, but the local restaurants are by far the best! You will not go hungry in Tyler, thats for sure.

Administration: We are a tobacco tolerant campus, and if you're of age you are allowed to drink on campus housing, so that's a plus if you choose to partake in those things. But parking they're pretty strict on where you park, for example students parking in faculty spots, parking without permits, or illegal parking.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Easy to access, but if you're new to the financial aid process it can be a little confusing.

Party Scene: Off campus house parties, somewhat large, pretty fun
