Diversity: There is no discrimination. Everyone are very friendly and helpful.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on the campus grounds. Once caught, student can get into serious trouble to the extreme of getting expelled.

Overall Experience: Since I was accustomed to a different method of education back in India. The American education system always kept me wonder struck. And its the same experience I have felt each time I walk into a class room. The professors are extremely experienced regarding the subjects they teach. Highly qualified. They are interactive, they extend their discussion about the topic they teach to a whole new level.

Overall Experience: University of Texas system is one of the reputed university chains in Texas as well as in around the country. A graduate degree from such reputed university will help a student grab high market value. Professors contribute significantly in giving references for students to get internships around Tyler and other major cities in Texas.

Health & Safety: University takes up the security of students and faculties inside and around the campus very seriously. We have campus police cars patrolling inside the campus at all times. There are emergency booths installed in various parts of the campus. With a push of a button from one of these emergency booths, can get a cop down to you at all times.

Overall Experience: UT at Tyler is a great place to start of your PG studies. When looking for a fairly economic but high in standards universities, UT Tyler would make a fabulous edition. University of Texas systems have been one of the top rated university systems in the world. Being a part of it was something spectacular. One of my favorite experiences was the campus. It was a considerably mid-sized campus with the largest bell tower in Texas and a beautiful lake. Since I did my studies in India, coming down to the US was dream come true. Professors who teach graduate classes are well experienced in the fields they teach, student count in each grad classes are reasonable. Which in tun means more attention from the professors on each student. I would choose UT at Tyler once again if I had to do it all over for the experience

Athletics: School teams were good, but my previous school lagged certain facilities to train and improve the physics of the players, which I find here at the university of Texas at Tyler very helpful since the university has a very good training center and helps in achieving better performing teams.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: i have absolutely loved this school, even though i cant wait to be done i couldnt have picked a better school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: there have been more than enough internships and opportunities.

Campus Housing: i don't live on campus but i have friends that do, if you don't want to go bankrupt while living on campus you get crap apartments, but the more you pay the better you get. which isn't fair i don't think.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have had a very pleasant experience at this college.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I personally feel safe but there are times I feel anxious walking alone in the dark on campus but I feel that comes with being a woman or anyone really. Crime isn't an issue and there are great safety measures such as police escort and emergency post set up everywhere. Also the safety emails and texts that warns students about safety concerns are nice.
