Campus Housing: I could have rate it that it's the best, however, the newest dorms are sort of far to the main buildings. I got a dorm assigned their, so I will have to think about walking early or getting a bike. The school offers shuttle busses around campus. Although, the new dorms look pretty nice with the apartment style with 4 bedrooms and six roommates. It offers wifi, kitchen, AC, student lounge, and laundry.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus, but what I see they are confortable, secure and also confident to do your things on campus. Otherwise if I live there I would like it.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Having the free Wi-Fi and cable are the best.

Dorm life allows students to mix different cultures and explore new relationships with unique personalities. Miner Village is the name of the main dormitory on UTEP's campus; it features 218 apartments and has a capacity of 436 students. Residents in dorms are required to share a kitchen, bath, and living space, but they are also given a private room. Overall, Miner Village is well maintained and kept clean.

On-campus residents have a nice grilling area, as well as beach volleyball courts. The lobby features extra activities for residents, such as pingpong, billiards, and computers. Next door to the dormitory is a recreation facility with basketball courts, racquetball courts, and a small gym. Residents are from all over the world, including Brazil, France, Mexico, and Germany. Miner Village is very convenient for students to take full advantage of school resources and events; it's also within walking distance from Albertsons grocery store, restaurants, and Cincinnati Avenue (an area with great nightlife).
