Campus Food: Food is Food and its there when you need it especially helpful when I have miner meals

3 College Junior

Campus Food: The food isn't bad, but it's priced as if we were in a major league stadium or something.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The food is okay, there is not much variety in the Union building. Although there are more options in the Natural gas building that have a better value such as Miners grill. For a quick bite I'd rather go to Taco Bell or McDonald's because a "snack" is overpriced. If you want to be healthy and east on campus everyday, then expect to spend no less than $9 each day if you want a fresh salad. You could get a packaged salad for about $6 or $7, but might not be as "fresh". The best thing to do is to bring your lunch if you don't want to spend as much money.Coffee pricing is normal to the "outside world", The two Starbucks are simple like any other location. However, I recommend investing in a mug from Einstein's bro's coffee for $4 and 99 cents for each refill if you need your morning fix.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Some places such as Einstein Bros. and the Natural Gas Conservation Center have great options for every student. However, places such as Jazzman's cafe in the library does not have great quality food and can be a bit on the expensive side considering the other options available.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: If I eat at school, I choose Chick-fil-a every time.

The dining experience at UTEP is very vague but delicious nonetheless. There aren't many changes on campus regarding eateries. A few various choices are offered, including Chick-fil-A, Chopsticks, Delicious Mexican Express, Pizza Hut, Quiznos, Sodexo catering, and World of Wings. Sodexo catering offers the best variety to students, mainly focusing on Mexican cuisine like Delicious Mexican Express. Students can choose from salads, pastas, burritos, etc. The quality of Sodexo catering is pleasant and delicious. However, prices may be a bit high. Even though the quality of food is good, it does not represent the cost well.

Students would rather visit surrounding restaurants close to campus. Especially since dining options on campus are over by 2 p.m., with the exception of World of Wings. Students who attend classes in the late afternoon will simply have to fall back on a snack from the vending machine or a muffin from a nearby coffee stand. There are many more new and creative choices to enjoy, and it is common to have an invitation to visit a nearby restaurant. But, in general, students are happy to have options available in school and will continue to purchase meals.
