3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The clas size depends on the course and usually the average is around 70-45 students. When it comes to the professors, some care and others don't

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I haven't apply yet to any intership but I heard that the career services are somewhat good

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: One of the good things about this campus is that it is safe and securities are Always available and campus police is always patrolling the parking lot

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The only reason they are nice is because they are new dorms

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I don't think there is soroties or fraternities

2 College Sophomore

Athletics: I don't even think there's even sports in this campus !

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Small campus not much to do :/

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There really hasn't been a problem with safety at school. Everything seems relatively safe and fine. Also, there are security guards always walking around making sure everything is fine, so I feel pretty safe.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The average class size is like a high school classroom. Not to many people and the teacher are alright. Since it is a rather small school, there is a limited amount of courses and not to diverse.

2 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The only experience I had was with the career center on campus. I was awarded work study, and was persistent on finding a job so I was always at the career center. Unfortunately, the center barely helped, the only good thing that came out of it was that they reviewed my resume and said it was good. I applied to various jobs, they wouldn't even call or email and when I had questions the center would take forever to respond.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: We don't have Greek life so I wouldn't know how it works or how fun it is. I believe that it would be a good thing if our school was much bigger.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: This school doesn't even have a football team, and not much else for athletics. The school tries to set up prep rallies with as much cheerleaders and dance teams, but almost to none teams, so people don't regularly show up.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school overall is alright. I believe the reason for the school not doing as great as before is because of the merge with its sister school, University of Texas Pan American. Most of the offices are behind and relatively not helpful, but they do try their best so that is what counts. Most of my teachers are rather helpful, some especially are great at what they do and really care about your well being. I think if i can do it all over again, I would still come here because its a small school, you know the people and the staff somewhat, so it feels more at home.

Overall Experience: An experience I had which I feel I have to speak out about is about loyalty. I took a professor 3 times in a row because I felt I had a good connection with her while many other students despised her. I just finished my 3rd course with her and she gave everyone a C as their final. Now, I knew she would grade based on her attitude, but this is horrendous. Some professors at this school need to get their act together, and figure out how to be student-oriented.

Overall Experience: I believe Brownsville Early College HS was the best school I could've chosen. Not only did it let me participate in college level classes, but allowed me to mature and take school seriously. Given the chance, I would do it all over again, except this time I'd give it the full 100% as my interest for school did not come until my Junior year. I strongly encourage incoming freshmen of Brownsville to apply to this school for the best highschool experience anyone can find.

Greek Life: There is nothing involving the Greeks in anyway in school.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: Overall experience of school is pricey when you look at the classrooms and computer labs disgustingly dirty.

2 College Senior

Athletics: Athletics in this school are at its worst rarely someone will want to get involved in sports because its not that great

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have loved every course and most professors at my University. My courses are interesting and they keep me engaged and willing to learn. I am always intrigued by what the professor is saying, and I try to incorporate the lesson of the day into my own daily life. The quality of the courses is great, but it also depends on who is teaching the course. I have had great professors and I have had terrible professors. There are a variety of classes offered - some I didn't even know existed until recently. The class sizes are average, some larger than others, but usually a good 20-30 students.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I believe that getting a degree at this University will really help me to get a job in the future. I am excited for all that the school has to offer, such as internships and jobs. I have never attended career services so I am unable to comment on that part, but as far as where I see myself with my degree, I would say I am satisfied.
