3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It an ongoing process lengthy. they had an error with finding my parents tax transcript which caused more time but they resolved it after I called fafsa

Athletics: The gyms are ok but comparing to some of the bigger schools not so good

5 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: There are tons of Apts and homes for you to move in to at any point of the year

5 Recent Alumnus

Party Scene: If you are looking for a party its easy to find one. People are friendly, drunk and high and will share everything with you not even knowing you.

4 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: There are a number of places you can walk to and enjoy a good quality meal or McDonalds

4 Recent Alumnus

Administration: They aren't horrible but not great. The follow the rules but do let some things slide. Those things will be easy to pick up on.

Campus Housing: It all depends on what do you prefer. Wifi, computer access, and party they have. If you are looking for peace and quite ad a place to study not going to happen. Good thing the library is close

Off-Campus Housing: The options for off campus housing are limited and some of the places are very sketchy and dangerous. The housing office is not very helpful when it comes to this option.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: A student has to drive to find places off campus and not very many options offer discounts.

3 College Junior

Administration: there are not enough officers for the whole campus. Incidents are always occuring and the criminals don't seem to ever get arrested. Parking is the worst. A person has to drive to different lots to be able to find parking, it is ridiculous that a cuple hundred dollars is spent on the parking ticket and very little options for paking are available.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The process was long, I got a lot of money but that only covered my tuition and I was left with no options for rent, health insurance or books. I was not pleased with Financial Aid.

Campus Food: The cafeteria offers only carbs and very little salad options and not much variety of options. The plates are very expensive, and not worth the money. The appareal at The POD should be available for purchase with the Dining Dollars and this money should also be available for use at the CollegePark restaurants.

Campus Housing: Though the facilities are really nice and privacy is insured, the cost of living is very expensive and the requirements to pay for cafeteria food in order to live in an specific builiding is absurd. More money is spent on the dorms that living on a regular apartment. Also, finding apartments on campus for out of state or international students is a hassle and a very long process.

Off-Campus Housing: I love off campus and I love it. No dealing with the housing office and no on-campus rules or restrictions. Cost may be a little high but more privacy options are available.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of options and many places to eat that have student discounts. The prices aren't the best but hey we have to eat.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I do not party so I don't know the best "party scene" but I do know that the best way to have a good time is to have good friends.

1 College Sophomore

Administration: Will give you a ticket for coughing while crossing the street.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I've heard great things about it and people never seem to have problems with it.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Although the meal plans are expensive and the food quality is low in the connection cafe it is food and for a hungry college student it works. The Plaza has good options that are available often. Einsteins is great for all coffee and bagel lovers, and is on the other side of campus which give variety.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The housing has two worlds here at UTA. There are very old housing options and very new housing options. for the new ones they are clean and spacious but the amenities are lacking. The washers and dryers hardly ever work, shower water pressure was minimal, fixtures would often break and fending machines were rarely on or working. The old ones are dirty, and not spacious at all. No elevators in them and that limits the handicapped.

Off-Campus Housing: I looked for an apartment either near campus or on campus, and ended up choosing on campus. The off campus housing is more expensive overall because not all utilities are included in the outrageous rent. On campus has utilities included. The off campus ones are not near as safe either, I have heard many bad things about the nearby off campus apartments as far as safety

Party Scene: I am not a party person, so I don't know how the good the parties actually are. However I have heard about a lot of parties and so there's definitely a party scene

Off-Campus Dining: I prefer to eat off campus. It is usually cheaper than on campus, and being in Arlington there are a ton more of options.
