Scholarships: When it comes to financial aid, our offices generally work with us students to make sure that our costs are covered and to let us know what we are paying for. They break down each charge and show you how to make your dollar go the longest way. There are various ways to get scholarships, but most of the time, you have to search on your own, or wait until the summer to see what other offers you can get. That is a hassle because some of us don't know how much financial aid to expect since the board that is over the scholarships don't meet until June or July.

Scholarships: One Stop at UT knows everything about everything. You are never on hold, they usually pick up immediately. I have so many random questions and they are always able to answer and are so polite when they do.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: I was unable to receive financial aid for any of the years I have attended college. Even though my parents work and support me, money is not always easy to come by and my sister needs their support as well.

Scholarships: Financial Aid is pretty hard to get, no matter where you go. At UTK, they have all the facilities for financial aid, registrar and bursar office all in one place called OneStop. It's actually pretty convenient. Despite my problems so far, they are mostly because of the loan company and not the fault of the school.
