Off-Campus Housing: There are a few options that are within walking distance of campus. The ones within walking distance are not very cheap but there is always a lot of safety and options to have co signers.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of fast food places around campus that are open late but other than fast food there are not a lot of other options.

Administration: Campus safety is very strict with parking tickets, alcohol and drugs but other policies they are more lenient with as long as you are respectful.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was able to receive a lot of financial aid that allowed me to attend this college, but I had some trouble filling out the forms to make sure I received everything that I could.

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I live in the oldest dorms available which means my A/C is constantly broken and the door handles have even falling off before. The mold effects my allergies on the daily. Very unsanitary.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love UT!! I am satisfied with the education I am receiving. The campus is beautiful and student involvement opportunities are endless.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Love to go to the games, and they are very populated. But we don't run around school saying "Yey! we beat them!" Or really talk about it with others.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Very nice, NoHo Flats is brand new

3 College Junior

Administration: Not the best, not the worse. As long as your smart about everything, you are fine.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I got a good scholarship coming into the school, from the school. I didn't have any other scholarships from anywhere else though.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Not much of a party scene here

4 College Junior

Campus Food: Of course, after a while you get used to the food, and you're not hungry for anything on campus anymore. This is not their fault, it's just something that it going to eventually happen.

5 College Junior

Campus Housing: I love my school, the education program is one of the best, and I do not think I could be this happy anywhere else.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It's costly and far away but the quality of the homes are nice.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I don't tend to eat off campus other than grocery shopping.

2 College Sophomore

Administration: The administration doesn't seem to do anything helpful. They only barge into your room and search it which I believe to be a violation of rights.

Of the many colleges and universities in Florida, the University of Tampa is one of the best places to study and enjoy college life. Not only is UT known for being a great place with high academic standards, but also the diversity and different cultures that are found here make the campus an enjoyable place to be. The amazing weather and location also help—thanks to the fact that Tampa is on the West coast of Florida. There is a wide variety of beaches within minutes of the campus. Also, the nightlife makes the University of Tampa a pretty attractive place for kids who are used to the city style of living.

The school spirit can be felt everywhere, and there is always something to do or an event to attend. Overall, the University of Tampa is a wonderful place to study and also to relax in between coursework. Once you're here, you'll feel like you're home.
