Health & Safety: There is always security on every part of campus 24 hours of the day. They make sure they are IDing every student that walks into dorms late at night to ensure they are a student and a campus resident. The RA also play a significant part in security in there respected dorms. On campus I feel very safe because I know no matter what time it is there is security and law enforcement to help me

Overall Experience: The value of my degree from this school is very high considering that it is a science based school with many of the professors having their PhD. They have first hand experience in many of the fields and they make sure they are helping students understand what degrees I. Their field would entitle them to.

Campus Housing: I personally do not live on campus but I do befriend many of the individuals that do and on campus living can be great. The campus is large enough that everything is generally centered. The dorms are quite spacious and give plenty of room in order to study and live comfortably.

Greek Life: It's great literally. They organize a wide amount of fundraising events and have a multitude of on campus events in which students can attend.

5 College Junior

Athletics: Really nice facilities, there is a fitness complex on campus that is very large. We don't have many sports teams that's the reason sports are not more of a big deal

Overall Experience: I love my school and my professors, the school it self it easy to navigate and classrooms are a adequate size. The professors are really intuitive and will do anything they can in order to help you

Overall Experience: so far I have liked the variety in classes and the classes i thought that i'd dislike most ended up being my favorites. the teachers, for the most part. are very enthusiastic about their subjects which make the experience much more enjoyable. The professors also make is a point to get to know their students personally which makes learning more enjoyable, as well. the campus feel and look also makes going to school feel less like something i have to do and more like something i completely enjoy doing because it is in a place that i love. It feels like constant summer vacation with a side of learning, although, i continue to keep my academics a priority.

Overall Experience: Because I am not yet at this point I'm not sure. My uncle graduated from here and is doing well for himself. I believe that it's all with how you apply yourself

Health & Safety: i feel safe on campus even though there are sometimes scares on or near campus

Campus Housing: The dorms are one of the best parts about the campus. There is no such thing as a 'bad dorm'. I work for admissions and often work at open houses. People are always asking about the dorms and I always tell them that there's nothing to worry about because all of the dorms are relatively new, spacious, and all around beautiful.

Greek Life: I have been back an forth between wanting to join a sorority or not. I often see them as cliquey and stuck in high school, to qualities that I am not. However, I am interested in meeting new people and being presented with new opportunities. I wish they weren't so expensive.

Athletics: Though I do not participate in athletics, nor do I typically attend the events, the facilities are all beautiful and new. The one downside to the school is there is a lack of school spirit.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: At times, I have found this school almost too easy. The teacher to student ratio is excellent and most professors try extremely hard to really get to know each student which turned out to be one of my favorite things about the university. Aside from that, though, the location is perfect as is the weather.

Health & Safety: The city of Tampa is not a generally safe city to live in, but the campus provides many safety measures on campus that allows you to feel safe.

Athletics: Honestly, I have not been involved with the athletics programs at my University. This school does not include a football team as well.

Overall Experience: This school is very expensive and very prestigious. You need to stay on top of your school work and perform at the highest degree that you possibly can, as most of these teachers are extremely dedicated to their areas of study and they expect a high level of academia out of their students. The campus however, is absolutely beautiful along with the city that I have found to love and could see myself living in for years to come.

Of the many colleges and universities in Florida, the University of Tampa is one of the best places to study and enjoy college life. Not only is UT known for being a great place with high academic standards, but also the diversity and different cultures that are found here make the campus an enjoyable place to be. The amazing weather and location also help—thanks to the fact that Tampa is on the West coast of Florida. There is a wide variety of beaches within minutes of the campus. Also, the nightlife makes the University of Tampa a pretty attractive place for kids who are used to the city style of living.

The school spirit can be felt everywhere, and there is always something to do or an event to attend. Overall, the University of Tampa is a wonderful place to study and also to relax in between coursework. Once you're here, you'll feel like you're home.
