Off-Campus Dining: Most good-decent places are relatively cheap. The amazing places can cost a pretty penny.

Administration: Just don't be stupid and you won't get in trouble. You're car won't get towed if you park in illegal spots, just a ticket, which isn't too costly ($20-$50 depending on where and when).

Scholarships: If you did well in high school and on standardized testing, you most likely received some financial aid.

Party Scene: It's fine if you are over 18 and can go to the clubs, and SoHo has great 21+ bars. The house parties suck.

Campus Food: It's fine if you are used to eating the same thing all the time, and you aren't a super healthy eater. If you are big into fatty, greasy foods, then Grill 155, Salsa Rico and some parts of Caf are great for you. If you're vegetarian, you'll wind up eating at Fresh Creations a lot, or the limited vegetarian (tasty) option in Caf.

Campus Housing: I live in Vaughn, which has pretty nice sized dorms, all suite-style.

Campus Food: Gets old pretty quickly. It sucks that in the cafeteria the only options for fruit are cantaloupe and honeydew melon...

Off-Campus Housing: So many options, regardless what you enjoy eating, you will never be bored or hungry!

Off-Campus Dining: I wish the financial aid office was more helpful but overall it is average quality.

Administration: We have LASER team, which is golf carts driven by student workers. it helps a lot.

Scholarships: With the new renovation of the parking garage, I'm hoping for more parking spaces!

Party Scene: The Wi-Fi connection in residence life is not the strongest.

Campus Food: I like that the workers that make our food care and want to get to know us. Some of them are just too funny.

Campus Housing: Coming from the Midwest, the weather was definitely a deciding factor. This campus is a close-knit community and I love how close we are to downtown! Now on to the academic spectrum; Small class sizes have saved my life. The teachers really get to know you individually and are willing to work with you to get the grades that you want to earn. I love this school so much, and wouldn't exchange it for a bigger school where your teachers don't even notice if you are absent in class!

Health & Safety: Lots of parties happen around campus and that's when girls get drunk off jungle juice.

Campus Housing: For such a small space, they charge a lot. House keeping is also promised to come once a week, but it comes about once a month.

Local Area: I've never lived in a big city before. It's nice that I can find something to do, but the traffic and people here are awful.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Bursar's Office is always busy, and they try to get you out as soon as possible.

Majors: Professors teach differently, so it's best to stick with one professor for one class, such as taking organic 1 and 2. Professors are always willing to help.

Of the many colleges and universities in Florida, the University of Tampa is one of the best places to study and enjoy college life. Not only is UT known for being a great place with high academic standards, but also the diversity and different cultures that are found here make the campus an enjoyable place to be. The amazing weather and location also help—thanks to the fact that Tampa is on the West coast of Florida. There is a wide variety of beaches within minutes of the campus. Also, the nightlife makes the University of Tampa a pretty attractive place for kids who are used to the city style of living.

The school spirit can be felt everywhere, and there is always something to do or an event to attend. Overall, the University of Tampa is a wonderful place to study and also to relax in between coursework. Once you're here, you'll feel like you're home.
