The University of Tampa has an incredible Sports Management program! I've talked to many students from different schools who are also sports management students and their programs don't come in comparison to UT's. I always look forward to going to my sports management classes. The professors make the classes so much fun! All the professors are great at what they do and you can tell they are very passionate about what they teach. The professors keep us very busy with the assignments they give out. Some classes require you to participate in 10-20 hours of community service, which is perfectly fine with the students because it gives us the opportunity to work with many of the sports organizations in our community. The program requires you to take 12 credits of internship. Many of sports management students do exceptionally well in their internships and are usually offered full-time positions with the companies they interned for.

I did not enjoy being here first semester and was so set on transferring, however, after giving it another chance I realize that the University of Tampa has so many opportunities to offer. Other than the beautiful campus which most students fall in-love with before they are even admitted here, the academics and professionalism at UT stands out. Something that I love about this college it does have a small population, which results in usually seeing the same faces everyday. This brings us closer however, making us more of a family than just a number at a university, and that reminds me of high school. The University of Tampa was my last choice when it came to where I wanted to go to college, but if I knew what I know now I would have committed the day I was accepted!

I personally am not into sports that much, but the University of Tampa does offer competitive, and successful division II sports. Lacrosse and baseball are VERY known here, and are also very known for being champions. I know a lot of the teammates, and when it comes to game time they are all designated to working together and preforming at their best. Anytime there is a game there are always kids walking around handing out flyers and promoting attending the game, and at games there usually is a good amount of fans in the crowd. UT is not a college where sports is everything, considering we don't have a football team. However, we make the best of what we have!
