Overall Experience: There is a lot of traffic in Los Angeles. If you leave too far off campus, it is very ghetto. You have to be careful and not go out alone at night to play it safe.

Overall Experience: It is best to do your own research about job/internship opportunities. You can always ask your academic advisor to point you to the right person to help you.

Administration: It seems somewhat strict. The Greek life has been on crack down due to some incidences.

Overall Experience: The best professors are here at USC. There is a wide variety of courses offered on campus. The class sizes vary. The big science courses tend to have the largest number of students.

Diversity: There is plenty of racial diversity on campus. Almost every ethnicity known is here at USC. International students are welcomed as well. This campus does not seem to discriminate on any type of diversity that I have witnessed.

Campus Quality: Leavey library, known as Club Leavey, is the only library that is open 24/7. It is kept clean pretty well for the most part. Athletic centers are the very nice and clean. Many students hang out at the Campus Center or in the quad.

Campus Food: Dining halls offer some variety, but not all the options are the greatest. Campus center offers better food, especially at Seeds Market.

Local Area: LA has everything you could possibly want in a big city. There are so many attractions, museums, entertainment and sports events, cultural experiences, shopping, and the beach! USC has so much happening on or near campus (usually simultaneously) that it is hard to choose. There are opportunities for all interests.

Greek Life: There are many fraternities and sororities here. There is a lot of Greek housing, some along Historic Adams Ave. I am in a coed, professional Cinema fraternity.

Off-Campus Dining: There are lots of healthy, vegan, gluten-free options at Seeds right on campus. There are so many different ethnic options nearby, and you can always take the metro or a bus to many more. LA Live isn't far and has many upscale choices and entertainment, too.

Campus Housing: This is my third year in housing. My first year was a dorm on campus. The next two years were in a university owned apartment right next to campus. They are building a brand new University Village.

Students from Southern California usually love USC from the beginning and strengthen their bonds with the school as time passes. Students who travel to USC from longer distances tend to adapt more slowly, dealing at first with the culture shock that inevitably comes with a first impression of LA. Universally, those who can survive the transition into the USC way of life fall in love with the school after first semester. Typically, students entering school with a skeptical mind-set ends up getting the most pride out of being a Trojan. At the very least, they come away with a new affinity toward college football.

The opportunities on campus are plentiful, and in LA, opportunities are endless. Time flies for everyone at USC, and changes in living conditions, academic standards, and career goals come quicker than newcomers might expect. USC graduates are sure to look back on a college experience that could not have been offered anywhere else. Basically, the more that students are willing to explore the opportunities available to them, the more they endorse the idea that USC is the perfect school for its time and place.
