Overall Experience: My overall experience was great, the only things that weighed me down was not having a car and feeling trapped on campus alot of the time.

Overall Experience: I went to a great college, though it did get in trouble with the state legislature over the choice of a book reading.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school provides a diverse choice of majors and has appropriate locations for classes.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is normal. You have your usual fast food places with a few uncommon options. When it comes to late night dining the only place really open that is close to campus is the McDonald's. All other places close usually around 10:00pm.

Party Scene: The apartment parties are usually pretty fun but they can get really packed real quick. I have experienced a few where violence breaks out, but that's not on a regular basis. The on-campus parties that the Campus Activity Board organize are the best ones to attend. They throw them mostly during the first 48 school days. They are very fun and enjoyable and a great opportunity to meet new people.

Administration: The rule they enforce the most is parking. If you park illegally for even one minute, the campus police will not hesitate to write a ticket. I also understand that they are strict about the cleanliness and rules of the dorms. In the classroom, the Honor code is regularly enforced. On the first page of every test, the teachers have students sign their name, promising to abide by it. Visitation in dorm rooms has never really been a problem, as long as no one is doing anything treacherous. As far as alcohol use, most students are smart enough to take their drinking outside of campus so it isn't a big deal.

Scholarships: I receive the LIFE scholarship which requires you have a certain number of credit hours and maintain a certain GPA throughout the college years.

Campus Food: I am not a big fan of Sandellas because the food is bland. As a commuter I only receive $50 a semester to purchase on campus food. One thing I do like about the cafe is on the last Thursday of every month commuters can eat for only $3.50. Otherwise, it costs $7 to eat in the cafe. The best places to go on campus is SubConnection and the Mexican stand. The coffee stand, Jazzman's, is very good as well but it can be a little pricey.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: If you like fast-food, then you'll like what is around campus. All the restaurants are a fifteen minute away from campus, and that is the worst part.

3 College Junior

Administration: All they seem to care about is getting money from your parking violations. They aren't the most in-tune with the student population.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The people at the financial aid office are nice, but their not going to go out of their way to help you.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Not the freshest food in the world, but considering the cafeteria is buffet style its not too bad.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The housing is average at best. The appliances aren't the newest or cleanest in the world. Most of the students are commuters, so there isn't a lot of commendatory among them. If you want a great place to study, the campus library is the best! There are also basketball and tennis courts for the students enjoyment.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: there are three near buy apartment complexes to choose from that are considered off campus. very close to classroom buildings so its a plus

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: dont have car or much money so dont go out to eat much

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: not many students so most of the parties are just frat parties

3 College Freshman

Administration: Need to be more lenient when it comes to visitation

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I havent really had to go to financial aid for any help so not sure on this topic

Campus Food: I only eat it cause its there and dont have money to go eat out. Limited choices of food. Need better hours (what college student eats dinner from 5-7)? only do it cause we have too. Needs to add on to the dining hall or even create another

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Its okay. wish you could control the air conditioner in the dorms. Wish the cafeteria was better. Limited food choice, only serve food at certain times a day, wish it stayed open longer, and we only have one.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Classes are very small, it feels like high school. Attendance is enforced, and classes are to easy

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Honors,Theater, and Nursing Program are great. Everything else is a waste of money.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Lot's of good looking girls. The only trouble is catching them before they commute back home. Rarely do you see anyone staying on campus more than you have to

2 College Freshman

Health & Safety: You have to drive in order to get to health center. They were closed for 8 hours one day for "staff meeting" without any notice. Nurses are rude, and do not care much for the students. Police on Campus are very bad. My roommate planned on doing bath salts one night. I called the police and they said they would deal with it tomorrow. I do not feel safe on campus.

I'm with the USC Upstate Honors program. I have a 4.0 GPA
