Like No Other – To set my school from others is a whole lot easier than imagined. Academic programs are wonderful. Once you finish your two year then you will have to transfer unless you are in the nursing program or teaching. Salk has a wonderful facilities at both campuses. The campus life are in apartment or houses depending on where you are at. But both campuses get together and do a lot of fun activities. Which is great due to the fact that the other campus is an hour away and that is where all the sports are except basketball. The social scene is really relaxing due to the fountain your able to sit by, or the swings to sit on to study. To have fun in a social scene we have the student lounge where you can watch tv, play pool, and play fooseball. It never gets too crowded in their bc we are a small school where everyone knows everyones name.

As a senior at Fort Dorchester High School I have always had a lot of school pride. I love our school and although it is very big being there for the past four years of my life have made me grow attached to my school. I enjoy being there and have learned a lot. I also attend Dorchester County Career and Technology Center where I am enrolled in a Health Science 01 and 02 class where in May we will start clinical s to receive our Certified Nursing Assistant certificates. I can't wait to start college in the fall at USC Salkehatchie.

Students were required to complete two chapters per week and there were at minumim three assignments per chapter. The cours has about four assignments that were reseach ans essay style. there was no peer to peer interaction and communication with he professor was inadequate.
