Scholarships: If you are transferring and in need of finanical aid, know all the details before it is time for regirstation. At times, certain peope had no idea what I was talking about regarding aid although at the end of the day, they certain patient and helpful once I got to the completed the entire process.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know much about living off campus but there are many apartment complexes around the campus. The distance between the two is good and prices are reasonable depending on where you live. Many students here prefer to live off campus.

Off-Campus Dining: The off campus dining is pretty good. There are plenty fast food restaurants around but there are many different types of cuisine. There are plenty places around here to find something to eat. I think its pretty good.

Administration: The campus strictness is pretty good. Its not too strict where it's like a prison but its not too lenient to let students get away with everything. The campus has strict policies on plagiarism, and alcohol and drug use. The campus policies keep everything in order.

Party Scene: I do not partake in a lot of parties and its not really my scene. I've only been to one party which was a Greek life party. Most parties off campus are very popular especially parties with Greek life. Most parties do take place off campus. A party is hosted almost every Thursday.

Scholarships: For myself the financial aid process was simple and smooth. I didn't come to any obstacles and I got all the aid I needed to pay for everything. Apply for scholarships and keep at least a 3.0 GPA to get the most money possible

Campus Food: The food on campus is not the great when it comes to the cafeteria but there are other food places on campus that provide great sandwiches which I get everyday. Most of the food is the same everyday and sometimes is not very appetizing so it all depends. The Starbucks on campus is fantastic and I love it. The meal plan also allows students to purchase domino's off campus which is great.

Campus Housing: Living on campus in my opinion is not that great. Depending on the roommate it can be good or bad and I have not had the best experience with my roommate. The room itself is not very spacious at all and the condition of these dorms is not good because they are old. There aren't many perks about living in the dorms except a full kitchen. I would say the cost is too much for what a person gets. The dorms are right next to the campus buildings which is great. The social atmosphere is nice and there is not a lot of negative things that happen. The housing process is simple and you can choose who you want to room with.

Off-Campus Housing: There are many apartments surrounding the campus that are great for students, but they can tend to be expensive if you go into it by yourself instead of with roommates.

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of great off-campus dining that are affordable for college students. Some of these places are Zaxby's, Dunkin Donuts, Firehouse Subs, Groucho's and Tokyo Grill.

Administration: Some of the rules professors have are outrageous. One of my professors this semester only allows two unexcused absences, which has been tough for me because I have had stomach illness since December 2014.

Scholarships: It was really easy to get financial aid and they are very willing to help out in any way you can. My tip is to apply for the FAFSA as SOON as possible.

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus so i wouldn't know what it is like to live on campus.

Majors: I hope to have an internship with Savannah River Site. I believe that it will be very beneficial to my education, as well as working in the workforce.

Majors: The School of Business at USC Aiken isn't hard to get in, but when you are a freshman trying to register for classes, it gets hard when you are given basically a limit of 17 credits per semester(unless you want to pay for every hour you take a class if you have more than 17). They give a preference to upperclassmen and it gets hard to find classes to fit into a good schedule and get all of the required credits for a degree. If you're heading for the bachelor's degree, the first two years will consist of general education classes. Once you are a junior, then you begin the business classes.

Party Scene: I don't necessarily party, but from what I heard, the party scene's pretty average. To be honest, there isn't really a lot of nightlife in Aiken.

Athletics: Eh, I'm not athletic so I wouldn't know too much about the athletics at USC Aiken

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Not my cup of tea.

Off-Campus Dining: You get a McDonalds or a Burger King here and there, but most food establishments in the area do not give student discounts. As a Business major, I can understand to an extent why they implement these rules, but not a lot of college kids can afford to eat on campus when they're charging $14 dollars a dinner. I'd have to say the better places to check out for food is probably across the state line to Augusta, GA. They seem to have more diversity there with food.

Health & Safety: USC Aiken tries to be involved with safety and security, but for the most part, it seems that during the night, it isn't safe when the pathways are barely lit and the closest safety box (emergency phone for University Police) is a good hundred yards away. Imagine being a girl and trying to walk back home safely to her dorm room and the safety boxes aren't close enough to help. Plus, there is nothing that surrounds those safety boxes anyway to protect anyone.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: It's only a small school so there aren't a lot of big time sports or sports fans for the school.
