5 College Freshman

Athletics: Sports are very popular and the school has good school spirit

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I can work out and play sports year round. Up to date equiptment and space

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: To be honest, I have not actually attended any sporting events and would never have gone in the athletic building if I hadn't had a required class there one semester. From what I can tell, sports are fairly important. There are students from all over the country that have come to this school to play sports.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: For me not being here for sports, I generally don't like to think good things about them because of the importance put solely on them at all times. Most of the money this school has goes towards bettering the sports teams and not the actually academics that go on for everyone else. If you're not a sports player you're looked at as pretty average and don't mean much to this schools reputation unless you have a 4.0 and are on the fancy cover the the welcome brochure. Unfortunately there is really no escaping this reality in any school so I would have to say I can put up with it since I see my education as my main focus for being here.
