Guys & Girls: I really like the people at this school. They are fairly hard working and nerdy, but fun-loving and kind. I really enjoy my peers.

Guys & Girls: There aren't any real cliques, especially not visible ones like 'goths' vs 'preps.' Everyone seems chill and friendly with one another.

Guys & Girls: There are a lot of different people on campus. There are many students who are international so it provides a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and countries from people your own age. The students are all extremely intelligent but their own interests vary which provides a wide range of friends and discussions people can have.

Guys & Girls: I'm convinced that everyone who goes to this school is a good person. Everyone is genuinely nice and wants to help each other out.

Guys & Girls: I thought it was bad in high school, but the guys here are cocky and stuck up, and they're not even that good looking. Or maybe that's the fraternity brothers.

There is a geeky constituency at UR, seeing that it is a science-intensive school, but there are a fair share of attractive guys. Intellectually, there is a good chance of finding a guy who is not lacking in the brains department. The girls tend to be attractive and very put together, for the most part. They tend to be described in the middle scale of attractiveness. Everyone finds everyone else is friendly, so if nothing else, we all play well with others.

Because it is a school where all the students are on the same level intellectually, you will develop good relationships with people that are long-lasting. The only complaint of students is that both guys and girls tend not to approach others they don't know, so some maintain the people are unfriendly at UR. However, at parties, people will get friendly and get to know each other better. Whether they talk to you the next time they see you on campus is another matter. There tends to be a flurry in the beginning of the year in terms of hookups and relationships, and it calms down as the school year progresses. Both sides have their share of attractive ones, and if relationships don't blossom, there's always the view.
