3 College Junior

Scholarships: Pitt is very all or nothing. I have two parents with jobs, a morgage, another child, and lots of hosital bills... I get nothing.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: The various scholarship opportunities are great and very beneficial in reducing the cost of attending this university.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Complete your FAFSA early. Inquire, ask questions, read the University's website to learn about scholarship opportunities.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: Financial aid is the worst part of Pitt, I spent most of my first semester on the phone with the office because my loan would no go through, or something on their end was wrong. It was a complete headache. I wish the school would allow for more aid to be awarded because of the high cost of tuition. Unless you are extremely smart, getting a scholarship is almost impossible. However, if you want to receive any aid, it's best to apply as soon as possible with all the information needed. After you submit your application, call to make sure they received it.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Pitt does not give scholarships to in staters. It can be expensive.
