Academic Flexibility: Staff and instructors are available 7 days a week. They have talked on the phone, email, and in the classroom setting. The preferred choice of communication is based on what works best for me. I like that I have a week off here and there between classes so I don't get burnt out. Having all materials available in the classroom is vastly helpful. I am going to transfer three classes from another university I attended prior to Phoenix.

Online Courses: I like the on line learning as I can work at my pace throughout the class. I can engage other students outside of our classroom for discussions and help. I can access other students in other classes for help as well. The flexibility is great and I can work from my dining room table. The staff at Phoenix has always been quick to engage and help. In a growing virtual world it has not been difficult for me to get to know my classmates. I have felt in all my classes that I knew my professor. Knowing what is required from the syllabus for the whole class allows for time to be ready and prepared for each week and each class. Success is something I see Phoenix as dedicated to. In many ways I find on line classes so much more fun than sitting in lecture halls and researching papers from an on campus library. I also feel the instructors are more available than in a traditional classroom.

Overall Experience: Instructors are class room ready and post a bio for a get to know you process. Students are asked to also post a bio so we can get to know each other. The course work may feel intense but fun at the same time. Having the complete syllabus upfront is one of the keys to my success. I can work ahead and prepare my classwork. In each class there are team assignments which can be taxing as not all classmates are as dedicated as I am. I have always had at least one classmate that works like I do, which is nothing less than the best and we work well together. Class size is an add too as it is easy to get to know one another and not have 20 classmates to respond to.

Overall Experience: I live in a growing community where jobs are needed in all trades. Any anxiety I have is the need to work in my city. I worked in county mental health for 2 years before relocating and had the best time learning from all my peers. I want to find a place to work where the goal and interest is in getting people better. The classes I will be taking in my program are geared toward my desired employment. There are many internship opportunities where I am at. I am expecting one of them to be a place I will be employed.

Academic Experience: I am working on my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. The class sizes make it easy to get to know other students. Some of us will follow each other through the program and we can make long term relationships. The course syllabus is available and in great detail as to what you need to succeed for each week and for the class as a whole. The instructors are great at letting you know if you are on tract or off tract throughout the class. In my area there is a great need for Mental Health providers. Once I work under a licensed therapist for 2 years I can apply for my state licensure and work on my own. At 2 years I can also apply to have my student loans forgiven.

Overall Experience: The whole experience of being a student at Phoenix University is fun and exciting. There is a team of specialists helping all along the way to get you enrolled and classroom ready. The classes are engaging, the professors are available, and the support staff for writing and technology are patient and easy to work with. I am a returning student and excited to start classes September 6th. I believe Phoenix is dedicated to success for students. The library is extensive, there are lots of on-topic videos, there are running strings of dialogue with other students who are not in my classes allowing for even more insights in my learning path. Tuition is very reasonable. Books are in e-reader format so you don't even have to buy books unless you want to. My need to stop school for a period of time was handles gracefully and with much support. So I am excited to attend a school that I know has my best interests in mind. You might think the enrollment team is invasive but trust me, they want to help you make sure you are ready to start school!

Academic Flexibility: I added a class online but dropped a week later due to finding out I would pay out of pocket 2 week before, asked to re-add the class to be put with the class I've been with all year did not seem possible. However the bachelor's program was great with accommodating. Other student seem to have the same troubles, some were accommodated some were not. seems reasonable.

Online Courses: this year I am paying out of pocket and recently found out that online courses cost more then ground so will not be doing any online courses for my graduate.

Career Services: on the alumni network but have not found it to useful as of yet, but will pursue, once things settle.

Overall Experience: The homework the first day of school is challenging, the class sometimes doesn't open until 1-2 days before class starts, professors the last 2-3 were not the best, hard to follow, class style was good, class size seemed fine, have had all classes with the same students 1 or 2 new average every class. Like the probationary program 2nd C you are on probation, pushes us to excellence. Like the Delta club if you have a high average before graduation. Courses seem like you learn, a lot in 6 weeks, hopes it holds the same weight as with well-known colleges.

Overall Experience: no job offers yet, last year was a good experience, this year was challenging, notice job fairs not able to attend due to work, services on campus are well equipped, and very accessible. hoping to promote or ask for a raise once I complete my masters program.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The masters homework is a lot more then bachelor's program, facilities are good, everything works, always able to get in touch with tech support with not only school work, but computer malfunction. A lot of reading, teachers are reachable. very accelerated and 6 weeks long. I have noticed a lot of people drive far to come to school at times, because the class isn't offered at our location or theirs.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The Bachelors program was great, all tools available, the counselors really cared. The masters a different story, counselors are not on time of things, I've changed academic counselors 3 times within less then a year. The teachers are different, no all but some. other then that, always accessible, someone will answer the phone to answer your question.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All of my instructors have shown how to lead a class with teaching useful knownledge while doing online classes.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I hope my children follow in my footsteps and apply for Univeristy of Phoenix. I know they will graduate with all of the right tools for success.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Some of the frustrations have been that assignments were do sooner which didn't give much time to do them and with group assignments, not all students are on the same page. Some would lack leaving others to pick up the pieces which made it harder for the assignments.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: As a military wife and mom of four, doing classes online has given me the chance to be at home yet still work on my education on my time without leaving home or worry about missing classes. Especially if a child is sick, I'm not missing classes and I can still tend to my child and home life without interference.

3 College Junior

Career Services: Not much is offered where I live which makes it difficult to reach out and branch out.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Most of the professors are right on and try to work with you while some expect more and think differently than the other professor where they change the layout and expect you to know that.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I am not offered an internship to better my degree due to the state that I live in.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: It's online schooling so the opportunity is not a fair as if I where on campus or near a campus where I could learn hands on.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I wish I had more of an opportunity to pick a different major but instead I have to settle for something close enough to what I would like to do. As far as an internship to have a clinical part in my major, that is not offered due to where I live.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have really nothing except that mostly all my councillors have been switched changed without my knowledge and I have to get to know them.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: One of my professors is very hard my grade did not even notice that I was doing exactly what was told and re-read the instructions and they're exactly asked of me.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Most girls are pretty good it depends what you get out of it and if your talk while if you're not. Well and it's no use just going in circles.
