Overall Experience: Our class is relatively small. We have six students enrolled in the course. Therefore, we are able to really engage in conversations and learn from our instructors. The professors are excellent. They are/were employed in the field of study

Student Body: There is a lot of diversity at this school. In my class of six, we range from 20-50 years old. Therefore, we have a lot of character to add to our classrooms.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am receiving is definitely worth the tuition. There were some unexplained fees that were not mentioned in the beginning stages of the application process.

Online Courses: Our school is a little different. In the criminal justice program we do not have online classes. We have a classroom online to obtain learning materials and submit assignments. However, we meet in the classroom every week.

Campus Resources: There are an unlimited amount of resources online for the students to use. These range from APA sample papers to plagiarism checks to peer reviewed articles. There is also a 24 hour tech support if there are any problems.

Academic Experience: In the criminal justice program, our facilitators are in the field that they are teaching. Retired or active employees, our teachers are able to give us real life stories and how to apply what we are learning in our career fields. It really is an unique opportunity for the students.

Academic Experience: As mentioned before, our teachers are in the field that they are facilitating. My current teacher is the District Attorney in Sacramento, CA. He is teaching Criminal Law which is rather quite fitting. We have had Police Chiefs, Lieutenants, Crime Lab Director, Correctional Officer, and Attorney's. It is comforting knowing that the teachers have knowledge of the field they are teaching.

Academic Flexibility: At the University of Phoenix, each student is assigned three advisers: Enrollment adviser, Academic adviser, and Financial Aid adviser. These advisers are available resources to get in contact Monday-Friday. To get started, I met with an Enrollment counselor and she was able to transfer my credits over from the community college.

Academic Flexibility: the transition from community college to university of phoenix was a lot easier than thought. i think a lot of students can be discouraged from the process or transferring because they are uneducated in how transfer work. Ms jacobs in fairfield, CA made my transition smooth and she gave e great peace of mind. Her encourage helped me continue my education.

Overall Experience: It's been great so far. Really just want to get in and get it done!

Campus Resources: Free coffee and filtered water is great. The classroom and general location of the campus makes it easy to get in and out.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The facilities are available during the week and limited weekend hours. Technology seems to be a strong suit for them.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The class registration process is completed online. Classes are picked for you so you just wait for them to send you the schedule.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Very diverse lots of different races and ratio of women to men is probably 2:1. Most graduate students have a military background.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They are very knowledgeable and have helped me understand the process. As many times as they contact me I keep getting the feeling they think I am going to take the financial aid and walk...

Academic Flexibility: I am in the graduate program and have been challenged academically by the program so far (2 courses into it!). I can say that the classes have been worth my while and apply to the real life. Really the challenge a student will face is their own personal struggles and the effectiveness of their classmates.

-No transferring of credits, they just had to verify my bachelors degree

-Scheduled classes include one class every six weeks taken one day a week for four hours. This means a lot of out of class studying and communicating with your classmates.

Overall Experience: Everything was going well until I was advised that I reached my aggregate level. Aside from communication with my financial aid, the campus and its staff were wonderful and challenging.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Make sure you know where you stand in regards to your aggregate limit. Financial aid will not tell you until you are over.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: It is a lot more expensive.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: School network system is pretty up-to-date. They have a resource center which contains a computer lab, have faxing/emailing/printing capabilities, and friendly staff. In addition, they are open six days a week.

Career Services: Have not made it there yet.

Academic Flexibility: Class scheduling is fine. However, I believed I would have benefited the math classes better if they were scheduled in an orderly fashion.

Academic Experience: Great instructors who work in the field. However, not much hands-on lab work.
