4 College Senior

Online Courses: The workload is rigorous but flexible and students and instructors can interact by responding to each others posts.

Online Courses: I think the coursework and discussion questions allow a student to connect and learn from input better than in a traditional school because you can go back and read over things and remember topics better.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I work a full time job, a mother, a wife, there are a million and one things to do at any given moment. The UOP offers me a way to learn but at odd hours that don't match a traditional classroom. We have the opportunity to discuss topics in the course, the level really depends on the classmates and if the professor provided any prompts.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I love that I can work at my own pace as I complete my work for the week. The keep me accountable though, because we are required to be online at least 3 days in the week and we have to post comments in the discussions as part of our grade. They also have learning teams that your working in varying degrees dependent on the class. These teams really help prepare you for working in a team on an assignment at work, or just for learning to work with others and hear them out. I love that the classes are one at a time and 5 weeks long each. This really helps when you are working a job. The work load is right for the job. Not too little and not too much.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I took seven online classes while I was in high school, and I loved it. That is one of the reasons why I chose The University of Phoenix. I like that I can do my work whenever, as I have two children under the age of two, so I am stretched for time. As time has gone on, I honestly prefer the in-classroom experience because you have tighter deadlines and I miss going to class.
