Academic Experience

Academic Experience: Being a psychology major at the University of Phoenix can be stressful at times. Although the school's resources are great for students, and the teachers are helpful, as mentioned before, the team setup is unfair to many students who end up carrying the weight for those who take to their advantage the fact that they will most likely not be graded individually. Despite multiple talks with every teacher and even the dean, there is a consistent problem with students who perform at a less than desired level. Furthermore, the school does not provide psychology students with many experience opportunities which can leave some in limbo when they graduate. The month to month classes can make the workload easier but this is not always the case and the student must read and do the work ahead of class time ( in other words you may have to teach yourself for the most part).

Academic Experience: I like the fact that the school has one class at a time for 5 weeks, so you can focus on one project at a time.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I've attended community colleges, and UPOX is great for my needs. The campus is not to big. All the staff is helpful and counselors contact you every 4 to 5 weeks. I am a huge coffee drinker and my campus has fresh brewed coffee in each break room. Love it!
