Overall Experience: My current university (University of Northern Colorado) is a comfortable distance from my hometown and I wouldn't have it any other way. Though my experiences in the on-campus residence were hectic, the professors and staff are wonderful. Campus Recreation is fantastic- I love going to the gym and events hosted by UNC.

I played it safe with picking my college. I wanted to remain in-state for cost reasons, despite the possibility of the WUE. A part of me wishes that I had been more open to living out-of-state. Knowing myself, I probably would have remained in-state anyways.

The University of Northern Colorado isn't a school I see myself re-applying to for Graduate school. That being said, I'm more willing to research, visit, and apply to more schools for my Masters and PhD because I will be looking for a school that specializes in what I study. The city of Greeley is small, and not doing exceedingly well economically. It has a lot of room for improvement- yet I would easily recommend UNC to anyone in Colorado for it's relaxed lifestyle and fantastic instructors.

Overall Experience: So far I really enjoy the school and all it has to offer. I hope to take advantage of more of the diverse and unique classes as those seem to be the ones I enjoy the most.

Overall Experience: I was raised in a small academic environment for most of my life and UNC was the right fit for me for this reason. The student population is not overwhelming but I also have had the experience of meeting a lot of new and unique individuals. The school promotes embracing diversity from student organizations to learning material presented in each course. UNC values creating students with strong moral standards and a code of ethics while also encouraging students to think critically and form their own set of values and opinions. The university has also helped me tremendously with financial aid, providing me scholarships and work study opportunities on campus. While Greeley is not the typical Colorado town, it is a comfortable and easy place to live, and it is a reasonable distance from more popular areas such as Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver.

Overall Experience: I love UNC. I have only had a few classes that are overwhelmingly big. Most classes are small and professors really do try to work with the students.

Off-Campus Dining: Daruma is the BOMB! D.P Dough is said to be wonderful as well since they deliver until very late at night- 3 am or later.

Administration: They care about the well being of the students, but are not overly controlling. It is like having the freedom to do what you please except when it's harmful to yourself or others.

Campus Food: I've had some college dining food that had me regretting not fasting for my whole visit, but UNC's food is different! Sure it's no five star restaurant, but it's always edible and there are plenty of options to choose from. It hardly ever gets old as well!

Scholarships: I personally do not qualify for much financial aid, but they were quick to respond to me and the viewing of it was easy and straight-forward.

Campus Housing: The housing does the job of providing a place to stay, but the dorms are very small for how much they cost to stay in. The apartments that are through the university seem like a much more affordable place to live for the size despite their distance from campus.

Overall Experience: I have only had one horrible teacher.

Overall Experience: The reason I am attending this school is because it has the best elementary program.

Local Area: There isn't much to do.

Guys & Girls: I find it hard because I mostly meet frat boys and I would never date a frat boy.

Health & Safety: The students aren't our biggest concern its the gang activity that we have to deal with that is dangerous.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I love it! It is small which is why I love it. You know almost everyone in Greek life by the end of the four years.

Athletics: No one goes to the games especially the football games. Some people go to the hockey games.

Off-Campus Housing: I have paid between $333 and $350 per month for rent over the past couple of years, which is reasonable. We are forced to pay bills on top of that as well, which is about $70 per month. Housing availability is great if you begin looking in January or February to sign a lease in June.

Party Scene: I have made some of the best friends after meeting them at parties at UNC. The parties are usually under control and relatively safe. Cops often shut the parties down at an early hour, but I usually have a great time when I go out on the weekends.

Off-Campus Dining: I really enjoy eating off-campus. The food options are great

Administration: UNC is pretty strict in most areas, but I feel it is important that they are strict for our own safety.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: The only financial aid I received was a valedictorian scholarship for $500 for having a 4.0 GPA in high school. I did not receive any financial aid.

Campus Food: The food on campus is usually pretty good, and I enjoy having a meal plan as an upper class-man. I wish the meal plans were a little cheaper because they are very expensive for each meal.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I enjoy of campus housing

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I enjoy the restaurants that are within walking distance
