4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Not too much to say, just that this school is well worth the money.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: I have had no problems with safety. People tend to be very dramatic about miniscule things, but nothing serious ever goes down.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Great school, I wouldn't go to any other place over here. Anyone can fit in if you look around and you will be hired if you choose a decent enough major.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is truly the best public university in the country. The alumni network is huge and will help you find a job if you share the same Tar Heel spirit.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I have had a pretty decent experience with housing. Even with a tough roommate, the resident advisors and government was able to help out and make things work.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Again, as a transfer I knew very little about Greek Life, but it is the place where the cooler kids will congregate

5 College Junior

Athletics: Carolina sports are the best. The football is now amazing and the basketball never ceases to amaze.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I'm very happy with Chapel Hill. As a transfer student I was very discouraged due to the business school being a completely different and unapproachable program within the school, however the quality of classes ahas encouraged me to pursue a graduate program in the business school so things will still work out well. As a whole, the teachers and students seem to both be very educated and the amount of things to do on and around campus is awesome. Very cool school and am excited to be here!

Greek Life: It's very shallow and somewhat demeaning.

Athletics: Basketball is most important here; football is a close second; everything else is almost insignificant.

UNC is known for its great academics, abundant research facilities, and storied athletic programs. Students who are priviliged enough to attend Carolina are happy with their choice even though it may not always have been their dream. UNC has been in the top five public schools in the country for the past eight years, and it is considered a "public ivy," so it's no secret that the quality of education at Carolina is far above average. Students at Carolina are continually pushing borders, experiencing new things, and becoming individuals.

At the end of their collegiate careers, many boast of having had the best four years of their lives in Chapel Hill, and that is evidenced by the overwhelming alumni support. UNC will prepare you for what is to come after the beautiful undergraduate years under the perfect Carolina blue sky. But most importantly at Chapel Hill, it is important to cherish every moment because four years fly by, and the college experience is soon over. One of the best things about Carolina is the immense school pride with which the stuent body lives as Tar Heels. Sure, college will be difficult. There will be failed exams and broken hearts, but there will also be experiences that you will never forget—weekend trips with your friends, late night yo-po runs, foam parties at Pulse, Holi Moli, and many others. When you attend Carolina, you will receive a quality education and a great college experience.
