4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Being a campus in a big city, especially Albuquerque, has some unavoidable associated risks. However there are a lot of safety precautions put in place, the blue safety poles are everywhere, there is good lighting, you can call for an escort, and people are generally helpful. You do have to be smart about not being in risky situations, but it doesn't interfere with life on campus.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Great programs, lots of resources for victims and/or friends.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: Safety on campus is okay, at night it is best to be aware of your surroundings. Here and there I will get email/text from school relating to a student being "groped" or things being stolen from them. We have phone services around campus so that if we need security to walk us around, they are available.

Health & Safety: Crime is kept to a minimum thanks to the police poles located everywhere on campus. Any crime that is reported is always taken seriously and steps are taken to investigate the reposted crime and ensure that it doesn't happen again. As a student, I generally feel very safe walking or riding my bike by myself around the campus, even during the night.

Health & Safety: It could be better, but we are working to improve.
