Academics: Being a biology major allows you to learn from teachers that actually want to see their student succeed.

Academics: The helpfulness of individuals throughout the campus to help students succeed is extremely beneficial and a huge advantage for students.

Academics: Not a huge fan of some of the teachers or classes. But overall my teachers have been nice even if they aren't good professors.

Academics: The educators are adamant about student progress and make themselves available for students to meet.

Academics: Overall, the University of New Mexico's academic system is phenomenal in that the university is considered a "Research 1 Institution," thus offering students and staff a plethora of tools and programs streamlined to encourage and promote efficient means of conducting research among nearly, if not, all fields of study!
