4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The staff has very helpful! Due to the size of the campus, the classes are small enough to get individual help. A drawback of the size of the campus is the amount of students they allow in certain degree programs (I.e. Registered nursing is only 16 students). All the degree sheets are very clear about what path is needed to obtain a certain degree or certificate. The campus is located in a rural area so reliable transportation is a must as there are little to no public transportation options.

Overall Experience: It's a great school so far, but I wish the math classes would be more person oriented instead of internet oriented.

Academic Flexibility: The school does work around work times. Which great for students that work mornings or evenings.

Overall Experience: I would say that everyone at the VC is very freindly. There is not so many people in every class so the learning experience is great.

Overall Experience: The class sizes are amazing not to many people at all. You have to chance to have one-on-one time with mostly every teacher at the UNM-VC. The teaching techniques are great every teacher has there own styles of helping every student out. I really do enjoy coming to the VC I would recommend it.

Overall Experience: My overall experience was great so far. I really liked how no matter where you are there is always help if needed on campus. All administrators at the UNM-Valencia are very helpful and nice.

Online Courses: This was my first year doing online work. It was very convenent, and easy to use. It teaches you responsibility, and you have to learn to manage your time with online work. The peer-to-peer interaction was great if you do not understand something you can ask a peer to explain before you ask the professor. The professor are only an email away. Do not be affarid to email them for any sort of question you have. The amount of work is very light in some classes you just have to stay on top of due dates.

Student Body: When i first attended college I was not sure what to expect, but it was great i met a lot of new people of every race and religion. Everyone here is very friendly, outgoing, and helpful if needed. I reallly recommend this college.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tution at UNM-Valencia is very affordable, but when you do not receive any FASFA due to your parents finances takes a toll. The financialaid office is such a great help on letting you know where to enter for scholarships, or if you need any other sort of help.

Career Services: Post-grad is getting my studies ready to advance.

Academic Experience: As of now at the UNM Valencia I am only taking basic courses, but as soon as i finish up i know that the curriculum will be excelent.

Academic Experience: The study options are amazing. You have so much help on campus.

Campus Resources: Our student center is wonderful. They offer tons of help, such as, tutoring, computer labs, and any sort of asstiance you will need to get through college.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Very cool and hip, yet educated and eager to learn. Encouraging and helpful, young adults.

Academic Flexibility: The UNM-Valencia campus is an outstanding place of learning. The staff is eager to teach as well as work with you. The students are friendly and more mature then High School. The S.T.E.M center is the perfect place for tutoring as is the learning center. The tutors are friendly and approachable, they will also make sure you understand the material in which you need help. If they can't seem to help you they will find someone who can. The staff is really genuine and hard working. I love and appreciate this campus, that includes all ages and a lot of ethnicity's and am grateful for this opportunity.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is not very expensive, compared to main campus. If you qualify for financial aid, then that really helps. There is also the lottery scholarship, which is only for people with a full schedule. All the expenses are worth the education though.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is a gym at the campus. The campus is well-maintained and always looks nice. There are clubs you can join and they also do fun things like dress up for halloween. The library and tutoring centers are very helpful.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some classes are squeezed into eight week classes, and I really feel they should be sixteen week classes, for example the CNA class. What's great is that it is a small college, and you get to know your classmates as well as your instructors, who really do care whether you pass or not.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are very helpful and really make sure you understand the material. The registration process is a bit frustrating because the advisors don't seem like they want to help you pick a schedule. They also don't explain things and can be rude. There is a learning center with tutors as well as a stem center with tutors which is very helpful.

2 College Junior

Career Services: There is very little known about networking at this campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I can say that the first year was fairly easy to get involved with students and teachers.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The STEM center is okay but some of the tutors don't do anything productive and I feel that if they are getting paid to help students then they should do their jobs instead of sitting around playing. The student lounge center sucks! The food is overpriced and its not something I would eat.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: The servers are constantly going down and messing up emails and Learn.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: there really isn't anything that stands out form our school. I wish we could have access to the gym without taking a class..

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I have only taken one online class and the professor was very flexible as far as being able to get in touch with them. I was able to attend in class sessions for extra help.
