Health & Safety

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: There are programs and resources implemented to prevent crimes. But it doesn't entirely keep us safe from them. I feel safe in the main parts of campus, but parking lots are scary to be alone in.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel totally safe while on campus at UNR. There hasn't been one encounter yet where i haven't felt safe. Our administration here works hard to try and prevent students from sexual assaults and feeling unsafe.

4 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: During the day time I feel completely safe walking on campus from class to my car. When it is dark out I do take precaution because in some spots on campus the lighting isn't so great. I park in the parking garage and have a friend drive me to my car because it is a distance away from populated areas on campus.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Our campus is super safe. We have Campus cadets who can walk you to class, Campus escort which is a driving service that runs at night (and is free), and if something weird does happen on campus they send out an emergency text and email to all students.

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: I always felt very safe on this campus. Anything something suspicious would happen or a from we would be notified through our phones.
