3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Typically it is just chain restaurants and if you do not have a car, you are stuck with the same off campus foods, because the buses only go certain routes.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are pretty good options, but you need a sober driver to get there.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The places I have been were okay to me.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Eating off campus is difficult because i usually dont have much money. mostly i grocery shop and eat at home, or get swiped into a dining hall by a friend

Columbia offers a wide array of food options. If you're looking for fast food, there is plenty. Some fast food joints include McDonald's, KFC (with buffet), Burger King, Sonic, Steak 'n Shake, Wendy's, and Taco Bell. These restaurants provide a quick, cheap meal for students on the go. If you're looking for a sit-down meal with some delicious food, there is plenty of that, too. Students who are looking for great pizza frequent Shakespeare's Pizza and pasta at Murry's or the Pasta Factory, and of course, there are lots of bar-and-grill establishments, such as Sky Hi, The Deuce, and Campus Bar and Grill.

The prices at these places are very comparable, ranging anywhere from $10 to $25 per person. The location of restaurants varies a lot. Many are located downtown, while others are off of 70, and some are off of Grindstone Parkway. This may seem very scattered, but the restaurants are about a 15-minute drive from most student neighborhoods.
