Campus Housing: I am an off campus student. It it actually much cheaper, which is great for any student. I am not able to specify as to how much cheaper. My apartment complex is associated, well, my Mizzou is associated with my apartment complex; therefore, we, off campus students, have a reliable resource of transportation to and from school. The social atmosphere on campus is very diverse and welcoming every time I am on campus, I must say.

Administration: Personally, I have not had many problems at all with administration. Yes I have had the occasional, "keep it down", when my friends and I would get a little too rowdy during quite hours, but that is about the extent of it. Respect the rules and you will have no problems here at Mizzou.

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many off-campus dining options here in Columbia. You can go downtown and you will find a number of restaurants within walking distane, or you can take about a 5 minute drive to another part of town where there is plenty more dining options. Also, there are a number of places that deliver to dorms.

Campus Housing: Overall I think the housing here is pretty awesome. The dorm that I am currently living, Mark Twain, was renovated in 2013, and is a wonderful place to live. We have some dorms that are older than others, but from what I have heard, they are all pretty nice, but we also have new dorms being built currently. Another great thing about Mizzou is that there is also something to do. Whether it be going downtown, or going to the student recreation complex, or intramurals, and then Greek Life is awesome. Mizzou is truly the place to be.

Local Area: Columbia is the perfect example of a "college town". Everything here revolves around Mizzou. We have a beautiful downtown area that is within walking distance of campus. But there are also many other things that a college student could find to do here. We have movie theaters, bowling alleys, parks, malls, and much, much more. I would definitely recommend this amazing university.

Greek Life: Most of the Greeks have housing in a certain section on campus. They all usually hang with each other.

Health & Safety: If you stay in a dorm there are health a safety checks and no one can get into your dorm unless they have an id that can let you in. When a crime does occur that is reported they will send out an email informing everyone about it.

Administration: You don't really get into trouble unless you do something really dumb that would get you caught easily.

Majors: There are people there to help you when you are undecided and there are people within your own college that help.

Off-Campus Housing: Some of the places can be a bit expensive but that is usually because they are offering you so much stuff that they have to pay for those things like a movie room or a game room and stuff like that.

Local Area: There are plenty places to go but only great if you have a car. They have the true/false fest which brings in a lot of tourists and most of the residents come to support the football team.

Scholarships: You don't always receive the amount of money to cover everything so if you can pay out of pocket that's fine but look for other scholarships and possibly a private loan if you cant.

Party Scene: Theres always some place to go.

Campus Housing: The dorms are all on campus and it takes like 5-10 mins to walk around on campus. Most don't have parking so you have to get a parking permit to park in a garage.

Academics: I like that my program is a combined masters and bachelor's program

Academics: All my professors are knowledgeable and helpful. They are relevant and resourceful

Greek Life: All of the fraternity members I've met are down to earth and cool, but some sororities are really stuck up. It is much more difficult to get into a sorority party than a fraternity party. The Greek houses are all pretty new, I think the oldest one was built in 2000.

Off-Campus Dining: Dining off-campus is pretty convenient, many restaurants are off campus from fast food to sit-and-dine places. Many restaurants pass out coupons on campus for Mizzou students, so it is also usually cheap. The first places you should check out are Murray's and Shakespeare's pizza.

Off-Campus Housing: I personally do not live off campus, but friends of mine who do feel like they are overpaying on rent.

Campus Housing: Dorm-wise they aren't really close to classes they actually seem to be a few blocks away from where most classes are.

Majors: Getting into the Accounting Program wasn't really that hard, but it wasn't easy at the same time because its solely based on GPA. So from that aspect every single A and B matters when it comes to the Accounting Program. I think the biggest downside of the program is that after you get in you have to maintain a 3.0 but your courses before doesn't count it like a complete reset on your GPA from that point..

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: It's pretty inexpensive if you only have it once a week.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I'm not really big on parties, but there is always on going on somewhere.

Mizzou offers so much to its students that it is hard not to fall in love with the school. The school provides many internships through your major and different work-study opportunities dealing with specific career paths. The difficulty of the classes and the toughness of professors prepare students for work outside of school. MU is unique because it gives students so many opportunities; whether you would like to be a football star or a vet, it offers both and everything in between.

If students had to go back and redo their college application process all over again, Mizzou would still end up being many students' choice. MU offers students a lot of opportunities to advance their career paths, minds, and friendship circles. The school has provided students with everlasting experiences and knowledge.
