4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are dedicated to the education of all students.

Overall Experience: Most students from my school are able to find jobs in their majors upon graduation.

Health & Safety: The campus police do a great job of ensuring the safety of students.

Greek Life: Greek life on this campus pales compared to schools like Mizzou.

Overall Experience: UMSL is unique because it's a mainly commuter university. The online classes are comparable to being in class as far as the level of education we receive.

Overall Experience: UMSL really cares about getting their graduates into the workforce. At the college of edu, students have to pick a studio school and work with them for two semesters. In the other colleges, many have to find internships before they graduate. The school offers Career Services which help with this, as well as most advisers help too.

Overall Experience: I've had great professors and awful professors. Fortunately, the great have outweighed the mediocre and the bad. The courses at UMSL are okay, I really enjoy my education courses. Variety is currently hard to find because of budget cuts, and class times are almost near impossible to work out. The class styles are all different and the class sizes are fairly nice.

Health & Safety: UMSL takes great care of its students in this way. Our campus is the safest in St. Louis because we have many police forces from the many different municipalities and our campus police are awesome. They help with anything: if a person doesn't feel comfortable walking back to their dorm, the police will come pick you up and take you there. When things do happen, they text and call everyone and give as much info as possible.

Campus Housing: I loved living on campus, especially at Oak Hall. 4-bedroom suites are great. It's not difficult to share a bathroom and you get your own room...I loved not sharing a room with someone. The south campus dining is not far away, but the classes on North Campus are. Parking is kind of a hassle; there are few close parking areas, many people have to park in the garage..which is about a 5 minute walk from Oak. Oak has a pool, which people living in Villa can use, as well.

Greek Life: Greek life needs to have more a variety of sororities and frats. They tend to be very cliquey and rude to the other frats/sororities, or non-Greeks. The sororities do a lot of work in the community; however, frats do not. If you aren't a part of Greek life, then you aren't always accepted.

Athletics: Our school spirit is always great, at the few sporting events I've been too. Teams are decent as well, especially the softball team. The athletic facilities are alright: the old gym is rough, but the new workout facility and gyms are awesome.

Overall Experience: UMSL seems very disorganized at times, but I've made many friends.

4 College Junior

Athletics: UMSL has a very impacted support for everything they offer at the school. They are a very high spirited school.

Overall Experience: I attend UMSL when it comes to the classroom everything is very diverse and many classes are forced to be taken, even if outside the study. I have had 5 classes that were meant to transfer from a different school that did not and the advisers are telling me last minute, instead of having 2 semesters and summer left I have two years.

Athletics: I don't play any sports, and I work out off campus.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Any question I've ever had has not only been answered, but is explained thoroughly as to why an answer is the right one. This actually helps me learn and understand for the long term.

Overall Experience: Professor's are clueless to what they're teaching, most of the time, and you're left to learn ALL material on your own.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It could be more diverse and I could have more events

Athletics: The basketball team is really good.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It is a good experience, but it could be a little better

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The police force is very visible and will give escorts if necessary, but there is almost no crime of any sort on campus, and the crime there is is mostly petty theft.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Oak Hall is pleasant. The RA's keep the hall decorated and the suite style living is nice.
