Health & Safety: We do take healthy and safety very seriously on campus and their are many places and people you can go to to safely talk about and address issues.

Overall Experience: I have a really good relationship with my professors. They are very personal and I can tell they actually care about what they are teaching and they care about our success.

Campus Housing: I found living on campus as a freshman was very convenient. I had a decent size dorm and was lucky to have a good roommate and floor mates. I would encourage all freshman to live on campus.

Greek Life: I am personally involved in Greek life and am absolutely in love with it. Rushing has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in college. It is where I bet a majority of my friends, how I got the most involved in the community with volunteer work and how I have had the most fun in college. I recommend rushing to any incoming freshman or transfer student. Greek life at UMD isn't very well known, but is growing.

Athletics: UMD is D1 in hockey and the rest of sports we are D2. Our football stadium is average, it is similar to what you would find in high school. Hockey games are a big deal at UMD and are a blast to go to.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am absolutely loving UMD and all it has to offer! The education program is very involved with local schools and is very good with getting their student teachers out into the field.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've enjoyed many of my professors and my classes

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I should be able to get a job after graduation and many of my friends have found jobs already

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: Its a safe campus for the most part but most people arent on campus on the weekends

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Its expensive and I could find something cheaper off campus but its important for me to live on campus during my undergrad

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is not a huge part of campus, there aren't houses or anything

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I'm really enjoying school at the University of Minnesota Duluth

3 College Junior

Athletics: I haven't attended many athletic events on campus.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I have nothing but good things to say about my building and have heard minimal complaints from people that I know that live in other buildings.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: As a member of Greek Life, I wholeheartedly believe in the good that it does for students and the campus.

Athletics: The athletics at my school are of decent quality, however, I can not say for sure how they compare to other D2 schools because I have never been to another.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: When I first committed to University of Minnesota Duluth, I was very unsure if it would be a good fit for me but within the first week of classes I was thoroughly confident in my choice. I think that many other students would agree with me as well.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It is really expensive, especially with a meal plan. It's best to get an apartment because then you don't have to eat in the gross dining center.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Nothing outstanding but nothing bad. It's all pretty average.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Most are approachable but not all. I don't have any close relationships but none of them are entirely bad.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It is easy to get information on what you want.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: No school compares. The diversity and experience of faculty rivals East and West coast schools.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Sometimes security is too struct when enforcing parking, but overall there are no major issues besides minor drug and alcohol infractions.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: They do not follow stereotypical norms. The groups organize events and help charities.
