Off-Campus Dining: It is alright but it can be expensive. I do not like to waste too much money on things like that.

Off-Campus Dining: I like being able to eat somewhere different for a change. It's nice not having to go to the same restaurants over and over again too.

Though some students gripe about dining hall quality, off-campus dining never disappoints. It is not uncommon for students to skip the dorms and venture out into Ann Arbor's thriving restaurant scene. The variety in Michigan's off-campus dining is a reflection of Ann Arbor's culturally-charged atmosphere. From Mexican cuisine to legendary burger joints, the Ann Arbor dining scene has a little something for everyone. Among a handful of others, student favorites include Pizza House, Sadako Sushi, Tios Mexican Café, and Blimpy Burger. Most restaurants deliver, many remaining open past midnight to accommodate college student sleep patterns. More high-end restaurants and bars can be found on Main Street—although these establishments are more geared to the tastes of grad students and visiting parents.
