3 College Senior

Drug Safety: I see nothing wrong with it. It is in line with my knowledge of other colleges.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There's a good variety but not a ton of student discounts.

College Senior

Greek Life: I am not involved in Greek life and have limited interaction with it.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I would do it all over.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Some places are too expensive for the quality of housing.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: Quality of food and dining hall hours could be better.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: The new renovations will help improve on-campus housing.

3 College Senior

Weather: I'm from the Midwest so cold weather does not bother me.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is a pretty big deal. i used to be in a top sorority, and loved it my freshman and sophomore year. However, by junior year, greek life moves away from frat houses and the social scene becomes oriented around the bars. In other words, greek life becomes pretty irrelevant to upperclassmen. Most of the people I know also grew pretty tired of greek culture after a few years. Hookup culture gets old, no one wants to get blackout drunk every night of the week, and everyone is ready to make genuine friends. Greek life doesn't foster that too well. Not to mention everyone in Greek life thinks they're superior to everyone else on campus, and that's simply not the case. It's also pretty expensive.

Local Area: There are some decent bars close to campus and there are some upscale restaurant and shopping areas not too far away. There are always things going on on campus through student organizations, and you can find out about them as they are advertised for in the diag.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: Always something to do, bargains, deals, just read.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Get comfortable walking boots and a warm coat!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Lots of places to live but hunt early! Even freshmen know to find a place for the next year by end of October if their first year.

3 College Freshman

Administration: If you make a stink, they will address it.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Michigan is expensive but I work on the scholarship hunt always.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: School days--grubs; weekends--wear your best maize and blue!

4 College Freshman

Transportation: Always a way to "motate!"

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: They are what they are. Great for people with "loose associations" and distant family.

4 College Freshman

Majors: There are a myriad of options and I do intend to take one with architecture (dual degree program).

3 College Freshman

Majors: Honestly, going to add a degree program (dual degree) next winter. Applying for architecture as a dual degree.

2 College Freshman

Academics: 1 credit hour = 2 contact hours so with 10 dance credits, I am physically in class a minimum of 20 hours--that doesn't include rehearsals! Then, scheduling academic classes around the dance schedule sucks too. Dance is the wicked step-child at Michigan. Crappy space too.

4 College Freshman

Academics: We have the broadest range of degree options.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: I feel like we have the world at our fingertips here.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Hundreds of clubs and organizations, campus events every day of the week; it is a thriving atmosphere.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Something for everyone including hot cookies delivered to your dorm at 3 AM!
