Majors: Everyone knows Michigan is reputable, so they are pretty great at hiring our students for internships. Act quickly so you can get the best opportunities.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Would never change my experience or my major for the world. It is a major I am happy with working with, and the entire staff and faculty is happy I am learning. Easy to get careers and internships started because it is such a broad major that is applicable in many fields.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The only time you ever really get to check someone out is the one month of summer weather we have in september. After that everyone is all bundled up.

Overall Experience: Lived on north campus so had a rough freshman year. Am excited for sophomore year to start when I can actually experience Michigan for what it is worth.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Amazing education--why were one of the top 20 schools!

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Interesting, insightful professors who really do a lot of research in their field. I always walk out of class learning something new, not just about the subject but also about the professor and the research they have done.

Campus Housing: If you get North Campus, you will be absolutely miserable. Not social, difficult to make friends, and always late to class.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Always feel super safe, and there's a blue light stand where you can contact emergency services spread out all over campus so if you ever feel in danger, there will always be someone to the rescue once you notify them.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Great selections that are really upscale and have great locations.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The food is alright but there are definitely better dining halls than others. East quad and north quad are the cleanest and nicest.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Don't do something stupid and you won't get in trouble

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid, but I know many people who did. Michigan seems to be really good about financial aid.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There is a lot of off campus housing available, however it is in high demand. You have to get started looking for a place very early on. The cost of living in Ann Arbor is relatively high.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a ton of options, too many really. You can get almost anything you are craving. Many of the options are famous around Michigan and even throughout the country. Just be careful about eating out too often.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: The overall safety on campus is very good. The issue of sexual assault however has been poorly handled by the administration.

4 College Junior

Academics: The academics themselves are fantastic. The professors are knowledgeable and often famous within their field. The only downside is the difficulty trying to get in to classes. As a large school, there is always a waitlist for many classes offered.

4 College Junior

Academics: The psychology program does a great job of helping their students. They even set aside classes that are only available to psych majors to ensure that they don't fill up.

4 College Junior

Athletics: As a Big 10 school, athletics is a big part of campus life. You always see the varsity athletes around campus decked out in full Michigan gear. The games are fun to go to and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in sports below the varsity level.
