4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Never felt unsafe on campus. Security services are all around campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Overall the courses and professors are extremely interesting and engaging. There are a wide variety of courses offered that allows students multiple opportunities to explore.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Straight forward recruiting process that relies on students evincing skills and qualifications during job fairs. The name and degree program markets itself.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: On campus housing is conveniently close to classes but are extremely difficult to acquire at reasonable pricing.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Very big on campus and very exclusive

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school offers great academics. There are many avenues to explore but the learning environment can be extremely stressful. If you work hard you can succeed. Students are varied in beliefs with exclusive social engagements being common.

Greek Life: Again, I'm not really a fan of greek life, but I do enjoy going to the step shows and parties. I went to more Greek life events than sports events. I feel like Greek life is most important or relevant when it comes to parties. There can be five parties on one day, but everyone is going to be at the one that the throws the best party. For example, the Kappa parties are big at my school. The Greek houses are very nice until parties of course, although some are smaller than others.

Athletics: I'm not big on sports so even though my school is all about football games and such, I'm not really a fan. My first year I didn't really attend any sporting events. That's terrible! How could you go to U of M and not go to the big games? I know, I'm going to try to change that next fall. My first year I was more so focused on my schoolwork and getting the hang of things so I had fun every now and then, but it wasn't a priority.

Overall Experience: I've just finished my freshman year and it was tough, but I made it! My first semester was very hard. I was coming from a high school that didn't have AP classes or things in that matter like my peers. So I felt behind in some classes or held back in a way. I also didn't know how to study, especially for big exams like the ones in college. I knew high school and college were different but I didn't think I would feel like high school did not prepare me. After learning how to study better overtime, second semester became easier. It was still hard, but I say easier as in me knowing what to expect. I love the nursing program at my school because I feel we have literally the best program. Many of our opportunities are not offered at other schools and for that I am grateful that I get to be apart of such an amazing school and program.

Health & Safety: While I know there are crime alerts and issues all the time, I have never felt unsafe around campus and had to consistently walk alone late at night and never had any issues or problems

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I've had a few great professors that I got close with and that really cared about the students that they taught. I've also had large lectures where this kind of familiarity was impossible and the GSIs were not very competent, but overall it's been great

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Tons of my friends got internships and even go abroad for them, but it is hard when you are a young undergrad student in only your first couple years.

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I've had a poor experience with a very bad roommate and an RA's unwillingness to help rectify the situation, but that is not a typical experience.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: I feel that greek life leads to a bad impression of the school as most of the attention is on the parties, and drinking, and other negative images

5 College Freshman

Athletics: There is a huge following for the football team, and as a part of the Michigan Marching band and Michigan hockey band, the fans are some of the most passionate I have ever come across

Overall Experience: people get jobs when you graduate from u of m

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: the nightlife is great, there's a ton of bars. Some are easier on fakes than others.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: There's parties every night of the week if you want to go. Everything is pretty close, the frats are a little further away.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Everyone is pretty liberal on campus, and a most to all people are accepting of diversity.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: There's always something to do if you're not into drugs or partying. You'll find a ton of other kids who aren't. Or you'll find kids who love partying. Every kind of person goes to this school.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel really safe on campus. In regards to sexual assault, we have SAPAC (Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center) which is a really great resource for victims and also facilitates discussions with almost every group on campus about sexual assault (which has started recently) and is working with the school to continue to recognize the severity of the issue of sexual assault.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: A lot of intro classes are big, but they have discussion sections so it's not too bad. Teachers love it when you go to office hours.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The alumni network is honestly the best you can get. There is always someone from Michigan who wants to work with another wolverine. Literally always. And on the off chance there isn't, they probably really respect Michigan.
