5 College Sophomore

Local Area: Ann Arbor has made the list so many times for being a classic college town. It's great; there's a mix of everything for everyone.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: I love the facilities. The technology is some of the best and very high quality. There's a whole variety of places to study at and all that.

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I really don't have a very knowledgable opinion. I'm sure it's great for people who are in Greek, but as a non Greek, I really can't say for sure.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There's all different types of people. A lot of it seems dependent on whatever majors they are in- dress is generally casual but there's a lot of freedom. No one really judges.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It's a public university and understandably in state students receive higher priority than out of state students but it would be great if out of state students were better taken care of in the future.

Diversity: There's so many people on campus and the student population is pretty diverse. I'd say that you would need to make an effort to find that diversity simply because there's so many students; it's easy to become friends with people just like you and get stuck in that rut.

Campus Housing: East Quadrangle was newly renovated in 2013 and it's a great dorm with a lot of convenient facilities. The rooms are spacious and the location is prime on Central Campus.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Perhaps more diverse than most universities. Many international students

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Campus is great. Museums, awesome buildings, endless study spots, and specific libraries.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Some dorms are in rough shape--especially the freshman dorms. Upperclassmen have better options, and most dorms are in central locations

3 College Sophomore

Majors: It's a tough school to get in to, but not the most difficult. It is reasonable, and the essay topics are not too difficult.

Majors: I do enjoy being a classics student at U of M. It is very difficult, and I spend 3-6 hours a day studying and doing homework. The curriculum is liberal, often too liberal for me, but even so the classes are good. There are many study abroad opportunities, research opportunities, and scholarships.

Health & Safety: A lot of issues with date-rape and excessive drug/alcohol use

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Many knowledgeable professors, a great variety of classes, and lots of resources for students.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: U of M has one of the best Classical studies programs in the nation. It's great to have such great professors and such great resources available, and to be able to study what I am studying.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There is a decent amount of off-campus housing, but it is expensive and parking is tough.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Tons of options, lots of places deliver or are within short walking distance

2 College Sophomore

Administration: Pretty much anything is allowed, no attention is paid to the law, and underage students drink and use drugs freely.

2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I don't party, so I don't enjoy the parties which happen all the time

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: You get what you pay for.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Excited to continue with my education.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: It's improving with updated dorms.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: It's a college town... Drinking is a given.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus, but there are sketchy areas to avoid.

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I don't agree with the Greek culture.
