Overall Experience: Going to michigan definitely opens more doors than the average school, but they also don't go out of the way to help you, type pretty much on your own.

Drug Safety: Drugs and alcohol are everywhere, and students that are underage drink still. That's the reality of any college experience.

Party Scene: Parties late prevalent in Greek houses and clubs. If students want to let loose after some studying or a final, they have the option to do so.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Not one for partying, but there are many different venues to go to if you want to party. Our bus system is good at transporting students to different areas of the campus late at night. Sometimes the bus route is called, the "Night Owl"

5 College Junior

Diversity: There are a variety of students from different cultural and belief backgrounds. Many are from different parts of the political spectrum, there are many religions represented, and many different opinions on different issues.

Academics: Professors are top rated here at the school, allowing students to get the best education they can get. Curriculums are good, specific with the goals that are in mind for the specific field. The registration process is straightforward for the most part, and it really gets into a competition almost because the university is looking out to seek the best and brightest of students from all around the country. Workload can be serious, so it is highly advised to always be on track with the syllabus, and be early if you can with assignments/projects. Study areas that are popular are anything in the sciences, engineering, and the arts.

Health & Safety: I'd say overall I feel safe within the campuses. From time to time there might be a crime, and students are notified of it via email. There are many students on campus, and we have campus police that are one phone call away if anyone sees anything.

Overall Experience: I take a variety of different classes because of my degree. I take a mixture of music performance classes, music education classes, and school of education classes. My professors are at the top of their field and offer a variety of ways in helping students. In the music school, there are now courses offered for students that talk about music business related topics, that will help musicians become successful financially in their art. Class sizes are regular sized in the music school, but can get up to 100-150 in musicology lectures.

Overall Experience: Our alumni network is the largest of any college in the country, with 500,000 alums and growing. Our career center brings alumni from time to time, putting together career fairs for students to network and connect with people who are in their field. Michiganis always looking to provide the best resources possible for students to use, to be successful when they graduate.

Campus Housing: Dorms for the most part aren't big, but they provide the space that students need. Some residence halls have recieved renovations, such as East Quad, which is more modern looking. On North Campus, there is the option to live in apartment style dorms, which give students more space and more privacy. Dorms on central campus are surrounded more social gatherings because there are many restaurants and hang-out spots to go that are nearby. North campus is more peaceful, is less busy, and has more of a variety of nature-like areas, which is a nice contrast to the busy area of central campus.

Greek Life: Greek life is popular at our school. There are many different sororities and fraternities to choose to be apart of. I'd say for the most part that nongreeks and Greeks get along.

Athletics: Our athletics programs are held at a very high standard, with our football team and basketball team being one of the best in the country. We have such a legacy with our football team, as having the most college football wins of any team IN HISTORY. Our other sports such as baseball, soccer, hockey, and many others are held at a high standard.

Overall Experience: Being at the University of Michigan has been incredible so far! There are so many diverse learning opportunities for students to engage in. I am mostly affiliated with the Music School, and being in that alone has been a tremendous experience. World class faculty and professional musicians are found in the school, and are an invaluable resource for guidance in our field. Outside the music school, there are many top rated programs that are featured in our university. Fields such as Engineering, Medical Field, and Psychology departments are among some of the best programs to be apart of in the United States and throughout the world. Being apart of a school with that kind of impact guves me more motivation and enthusiasm for my school. Plus, Ann Arbor is a great a college town, where the city and school are really integrated as one!

Health & Safety: There are a multitude of services

Health & Safety: I think the University of Michigan has taken big steps the past year to prevent sexual assaults, and the new president is trying his best to make policies to prevent these acts and to keep the students safe. I feel generally safe on campus, and my walk home which is off campus is the only time I ever truly feel unsafe.

Overall Experience: The class sizes are smaller than you would think

Overall Experience: It has the largest living alumni network

Overall Experience: I am a Kinesiology student at the University of Michigan, and I absolutely love my classes in the school of Kinesiology. It is a smaller community and the professors seem to care more about individuals and will go the extra mile to make sure each student is learning.

Overall Experience: The University of Michigan has a vast network across the world that will be very beneficial in looking for employment some day. There are Wolverines all over the world and the legacy of this university is shown nearly everywhere.

Campus Housing: As a freshman, I had to live on north campus, very far away from central campus and away from social gatherings most of the time. I didn't enjoy this experience very much. However, I know that my friends on central campus really enjoyed their housing experience and made good friends, so I know that most housing options are great. I just wasn't thrilled with north campus.

Greek Life: Greek life isn't a big part of my life on campus, although I do have some good friends in fraternities. They have gained a lot of great friendships and I think it is beneficial for those who seek to find life long friendships with others from backgrounds different from their own.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: The varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan are some of the best in the entire country, and our university is often acknowledged worldwide by the Olympic participants that attended the University of Michigan. There isn't a fan base that's more supportive than the Wolverines, and there's nothing else quite like being a part of 110,000 fans cheering on your team every Saturday during football season in the Big House.

Overall Experience: The University of Michigan demands the best out of each of its students. It takes the best and brightest students and humbles them with its rigorous courses. The University of Michigan demands your respect and that you take it seriously, and if you truly put forth your best effort, you will succeed.

Greek Life: It creates a great community
