Majors: I have yet to have an internship but I do hope to find one for this summer. I do have concerns about finding an internship for this summer. I have worked as a student teacher during the fall semester.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: Iv'e never had a problem but I am also not a rule breaker

5 College Sophomore

Majors: A lot of Majors to choose from, and many are very highly ranked.

Local Area: One of the best small, college towns out there but still is in the end a small town

2 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Large population from Michigan, overrun by white people

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Great amount of school spirit for the big sports. Doesn't translate to facilities for students, very mediocre gyms considering the size of the student body.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Great work environment, surrounded by extremely driven students, can become very stressful at times though. Good attempt at liberal arts education but sometimes feels a little much for science students.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It's okay. There's nothing really to rave or complain about.

Greek Life: I don't associate myself with greek life in any way, but all seems well. I have never seen anyone treated differently because they participate.

Greek Life: As a non-Greek student I don't know too much about the particular housing of Greek students. However, I feel like "Greek-Life" is basically only for parties. I do not understand what sororities do at all. It's like paying money for friends, it's pointless.

Off-Campus Dining: There are tons of options in Ann Arbor and most places are open until 2 or 3 in the morning--especially on weekends.

Majors: I love the program that I'm in. From space weather to storm chasing it has everything I've ever hoped for in a major. The professors and advisers are very helpful and the community is tight-knit. However, the engineering program is difficult to get into it is worth it.

Party Scene: There is always something going on...if you're a girl.

Athletics: Of course football and basketball are very important at a Big Ten University. There are student discounts and the student sections are usually pretty "hype". There are also intramural sports buildings for students who aren't athletes to use.

5 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: They have a specific section in their website where you fill out a profile and are automatically entered in the scholarships you are eligible for. They are also very understanding with financial aids and university grants. I have been able to get my whole tuition covered with some left over for both semesters that I have attended.

Students love that they can mold their school to best suit their individual needs and desires. Whether they are looking for academics, athletics, or social outlets, Michigan fits the bill: In addition to its highly-ranked academics, it has a highly respected athletic reputation, and Ann Arbor's atmosphere is one to be envied, consisting of restaurants, shops, bars, and much more. Michigan alumni are expansive in both numbers and location. Michigan's alumni network is one of the largest, with many individuals holding vital positions in their respective industries.
