3 College Freshman

Parking: Being that college is very expensive, i dont fully agree with the cost of parking, but I will justify by saying there is usually parking spots from what i see. I dont drive yet so my accusations of parking may be bias. From what i here parking is usually not that bad as far as dorm parking, but sometimes finding a spot before class may be hectic.

3 College Freshman

Parking: Dont know about fines or tickets dont park on campus. I walk to class.

3 College Freshman

Parking: I don't have my license yet so I have no concerns with on-campus parking yet.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: The campus police are very strict on students having a permit inside of the window and if not then they cant park certain locations and cant get into different housing without the permit. there are plenty of fines being handed out because student sdont follow the rules of parking.

3 College Senior

Parking: Most purchase a parking permit that says where you are a resident on or off campus. Only can park in certain lots or you will get a ticket. Permit is 40 dollars for a year. Car is definitely needed if you want to go off campus to other places like the mall but if staying on campus it's not really needed

The parking at the University is average and could be better. The main issue is the availability. Students need to know specific times when it is best to park on campus; otherwise, they’re going to have a tough time finding a convenient spot. It’s especially hard in the beginning of each semester as students adjust to new schedules, but as time passes and you get a feel for when classes will let out, you can find spots in sometimes-hard-to-park places, like close to your next class.

There are places where it is always hard to find a parking spot, such as in the lots for the Performing Arts Center and Student Development Center. All hope is not lost, though, because there are usually open spots in the men's dorm parking areas and the lot across from the Student Service Center. The one thing you need to be aware of is there are many ways in which a student can obtain a ticket, so follow the rules at all times because tickets can range from $20 to $100 depending on the offense.
