My over all experience with the University of Maryland University College as been exceptional, especially when compared to other online colleges that I have attended. Their flexibility with ensuring that you are not dropped from your courses while awaiting financial aid or other tuition reimbursement is outstanding! Their professors not only care about their non-traditional students but they go out of their way to ensure that all of their students have a firm understanding of the material at all times. As a student who currently works full time in the career field for which they are studying, it is refreshing to see first hand that the professors at UMUC have not only a firm understanding of their course materials but also are up to date on current trends within their fields.

At first I was skeptical about joining a college that was mostly online, but UMUC has been an amazing experience. When I previously attended a community college in Colorado Springs, I could not find anyone who could answer my questions about financial aid or classes. At UMUC however, the support system is extensive. I can call and speak with someone who will help me with any questions or problems I have within minutes. The professors have more modern teaching styles that make the course work more enjoyable and interesting. The payment plans are also some of the most flexible I have ever seen, which are great for people on budgets. Overall I have a great experience and would recommend UMUC to anyone.

It is a great school for people who have different working-schedules because it offers many online classes. It also offers financial aid and tutoring for the students who need them. The 24/7 online assistance is very helpful! One thing I would like to be added to this school is more videos for the online classes because some topics are confusing with reading from the book only.
