5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: On a U.S. military base overseas the security is very good. Only certain people can even get on base.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Military members are not only involved in being in good physical condition, they have to, so base offers a variety of team sports.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There are a plethora of partying options for a college student around the college building on base. The economy is designed around a single sailors lifestyle, so you can bet there are plenty of places to party around this college even if it is primarily an online school.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I live in Japan! The local cuisine just a short walk from the class building and the variety and sheer volume of options is unparalleled.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: I have a lot of questions! The administration is always very helpful and thorough. The only thing I don't appreciate is the office closes at 1pm during the week!

College Sophomore

Scholarships: I'm still in the process of applying for scholarships, so I don't know how helpful it might turn out to be. That being said the UMUC office has endless websites and links etc. to apply for scholarships. They really help you help yourself.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The campus I am studying at is overseas on a military installation, there is no campus housing. However the campus is very conveniently located in the middle of base.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Currently take on-line only classes and live in my own home.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: Currently taking on-line classes only from home.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Currently taking online classes only from my residence.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: While all interaction has been on-line it seems the schools policies are fair and equally enforced.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Currently I have applied but not received any scholarships but have had no issues with securing educational loans at the present time.

College Sophomore

Campus Food: Classes I am currently taking are online only and do not involve any on-site interaction.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: University of Maryland University College classes for myself are completely on-line with no actual attendance at the school itself.

3 College Junior

Athletics: For as many fitness and health conscious students attending, the gym is a little mediocre in size and availability is very low for equipment most of the time.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The city has tons of options with a lot of diversity. If you are health conscious or a fitness nut, this is the right town for you. There are tons of vegan, veggie, and specialty options around the town that are defiantly worth the extra cash. The area is a litter pricier in general, so with that groceries and restaurants are also higher in cost.

Administration: The administration isn't much help- if you can ever find one. If you have problems finding one however, all you need to do is park in the wrong spot, or have the wrong type of sticker for parking issued for your own dorm, or have an outstanding fine, and POOF, they will appear before you or your vehicle like a genie, but not one to grant your three most desired wishes. And watch your toes, they love their golf carts!

College Junior

Scholarships: I did not do scholarships at the time.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: There are quite a few options, however they aren't all the healthiest. But when you are in-between classes, sometimes grab and go type meals will work.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: The upperclassman dormitories/apartments are very spacious. The RA's however in my experience were never to be seen and never helped when it was needed in certain situations. The building and grounds were well taken care off. Just wish there was a parking garage for on campus students instead of those who live off campus. I feel like that didn't make sense.

College Senior

Athletics: Take classes online so I do not know about the athletic facilities

College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I take classes online so their is no off-campus housing.

College Senior

Party Scene: Once again I do school online so I do not go to parties, instead I work and get online and go to my classes

3 College Senior

Administration: The school strictness is fair and it mostly depends on the the teacher but most of all a lot of the administration are nice and willing to help you out.

College Senior

Scholarships: I never applied for financial aid with my school.
