Registration Process Made Easy! As a transfer student, I am in a good position to evaluate the registration process at the University of Maryland Baltimore because I have a basis of comparison. I can boldly and proudly say that registration is made easy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore because everything is done online. The ease of registration is exemplified in the fact that you can register for your classes anywhere in the world where there is Internet access. There are staff members on standby twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to guide students through the user-friendly website should one run into any problems. Students who don't have any computer or internet access are not left behind. They are adequately taken care of on campus at the Records and Registration Office where the amiable staff will usher one to the many computers dedicated for registration and guide one through the whole process of registration effortlessly. They make it so easy that sooner than you realized you are in their office for registration, you are out. This is because the system in place is effective, efficient and student-oriented.

There are plenty of machines for the vast amount of students that enjoy that area. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. There isn't much of an athletic scene, I suppose it's because of the amount of focus one needs in order to pass their classes. The student involvement in sports isn't very large but when it comes to other extra curricular activities the involvement is grand!

University of Maryland - Baltimore has excellent academics. I have been thoroughly impressed with the nursing program. The professors are open and welcoming, giving great advise when asked. They are more than willing to take the extra time to sit down with you and work with you to make you a more effective student. In addition the Student Success Center saves my life! Their resources are incredible.
