3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: It's pretty good. If you're ever out on a Tuesday night, go to Home Team Grill. Their burgers are 50% off every Tuesday night starting at 5pm.

Off-Campus Dining: It's okay. There are some places that are good to eat but other than that, I would want to transfer out of here.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Downtown Fredericksburg has a million dining options and is the highlight of off campus dining, across the eagle bridge is a couple more great places.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Only McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Chinese restaurants are nearby. Aside from that a student would have to drive to reach any of the good food options.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: i was always too broke to eat off campus.

Without a car, your options are Salad Creations, Giant, and Pancho Villa. So, in short, there is not much within a walking proximity. However, Fredericksburg as a whole has a lot of options from which to choose. Downtown, with its variety of bars and restaurants, is a great place to take someone out to eat, whether that someone is a date, parent, or friend. Everything within walking distance tends to be affordable if you have a 10-dollar bill on you. Downtown, you might need a little more money, but there aren't really any restaurants that are extremely expensive and luxurious in a small town like Fredericksburg.

Students occasionally hang out or do their homework in the cafés downtown, while munching on something sweet or drinking coffee. Other than the cafés, there aren't many casual settings for students to hang out at that don't require a car. Most restaurants are located right downtown, which is a short drive or, more simply, a bus ride away. Fast food options tend to be scattered about Fredericksburg in various places, and then, a car is more mandatory.
