Parking: Cajun Field is the primary source for off-campus parking, and can hold roughly 1200 cars at max. If you get there a half hour or earlier before the day starts, you have the pick of the litter for spots. A half hour after, and you'll be parking near the edge of the lot. 8AM or 9AM? You'll be a good third of a mile out. As for the location itself, it's a mile or so from campus, but shuttle-buses run every 15 minutes or faster to and fro the lot, so in essence, it's near free (parking is $15 a semester, included in fees) parking for all students.

Parking: I absolutely hate our parking system. During my first year on campus, I stayed in the on-campus dorms which had a parking garage about 5 minutes away, walking distance. Other than that, there are pay lots but only a few. Then there are locally owned parking lots by campus, not on campus. Those can run anywhere from $200-$400 PER semester. I know because I paid $200 for a permit for 2013 fall semester. The parking and transit system is very strict. They make sure to check EVERY car parked on campus to make sure they have the right permit. Although I have never received a parking ticket, I have seen very many cars with a little yellow sheet on their windshield!

Parking: permits are $40 a semester and parking enforcement give you a warning , then $20 ticket, idont know after that because Ive learned my lesson but Ive heard that the tickets go up after the first one to the point where your paing more for a ticket than the permit.

Parking: Parking on campus is impossible to get. There is a lottery to get a spot on campus, but it is near impossible to get one. There are two pay lots, one fills up quickly and the other one cost to much. There is free parking at Cajun-field and school bus picks you up for free, these buses fill up quickly and can sometimes run late. Now private parking is ridiculous, they charge several hundred dollars per semester.

Parking: There is no where to park close, however the offer a bus where you can park and ride that is very covenant.
