5 College Freshman

Party Scene: People at University of La Verne seem to be down to earth, because most understand the struggle to pay for their education. Sometimes, students need a break from their studies to become rejuvenated.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I haven't attended any of the parties off or on the campus.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I do not attend the parties at the university.

Party Scene: La Verne is definitely not known for being a party school. For the most part, it seems to be a bunch of hipsters sitting around drinking coffee, while the Greeks run around promoting things for the clubs at the school.

If you're looking for parties, you will definitely find them. The fraternities and sororities host parties throughout the semester, which are usually pretty fun to go to, they just cost like $10 to get in, which is kind of a bummer. I definitely recommend going to them at least once though, I mean, it's almost like a college initiation to participate in a Toga Party.

The sports teams regularly host parties every weekend. Whether its the basketball house, the football house, the water polo house, or the soccer house, there is always something going on. The trick is knowing the right people so you can go. If you're not afraid to ask around, you will certainly find the party you're looking for.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I'm not a party person, but our Campus Activities Board and Student Government provide us with fun and interacting events.
