3 College Sophomore

Transportation: There are buses that go around all the time, but I've never been on one.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: I do like the transportation but the public transportation system can be iffy at times. The free bus ran by the University for students is amazing and saved me from doing a lot of walking (UK is a large campus) but I do wish that they expanded the routes to more stops around the city.

4 College Junior

Transportation: the college has several free busses that run several times an hour. the only bad thing is the cost of taxis anywhere in the town

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: Transportation on this campus is impossible because there is barely anywhere to park. The campus transportation is great though it runs every 10 minutes so you really don't need a car on campus.

Transportation: The school's shuttle only runs in selected areas but it is free. It's not convenient for everyone but is very useful for those on or around campus.

Most places on campus can be reached in a short walk.
The city bus system offers free fares to students, but nobody has every actually seen any Kentucky students on a bus that runs anywhere but campus. Most people seem to enjoy the walk, unless the weather is bad and the buses crowd up.

Cabs in Lexington aren't too expensive and are the best way to get where you want to go safely without having to walk. Always keep the name of a good cab company handy when going out just in case your designated driver decides to be irresponsible.
