2 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking is probably the worst part of campus because there are only spots for those who have passes which cost $250 for the school year, and the parking police are constantly patrolling.

2 College Junior

Parking: there are not enough parking spots.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: You just need to get to the spots early. It's first come first served.

3 College Student

Parking: Do not park in any location that you do not have a permit for, you will get a ticket. Parking on the streets around south campus in the evenings and all weekends is allowed if you have any type of UK permit.

1 College Senior

Parking: It is expensive and far away from classes and the university.

You would not believe how much people enjoy complaining about parking at Kentucky! It gets more gripes than any other area of college life, and rightly so. The parking authority is notorious for overselling parking passes. If you are lucky enough to find a space, you will pay over $100 per year to park somewhere miles away from anything.

Plan on packing a sleeping bag if you have a pass to park at the football stadium; chances are you'll end up getting tired and spending the night. The only redeeming factor is the shabby bus system that takes students around campus, but never really drops them off anywhere that helps much.
