Off-Campus Dining

Off-Campus Dining: Considering the dining on campus is terrible, It's nice to change things up and visit some off-campus locations. However, due to only restricting to Plus account, which also has its useless aspects, it requires I have to spend my own limited money.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are a ton of little local spots and a wide variety of food that is very tasty.

Off-Campus Dining: Many places that are close to campus are aware that many college students will want to dine at their restaurants so they try to keep prices reasonable and many offer student discounts. Also, they are right on the outskirts of campus so they are very close. If you are looking for a lot of good food for a low price I would suggest going to Cookout!

Off-Campus Dining: Campus is right next to downtown Lexington and there are so many options right off campus that are very easy to walk to!

Going hungry will never be an option at UK. There is a wide variety of your typical national chain restaurants in Lexington, many of which are just a short drive from campus. But by far the most impressive choices are the original-to-Lexington places that are close to campus, like Joe Bologna's and Pazzo's. Tolly-Ho is a must-do for anyone new to campus. Be sure and tell them you've never been there before, and they'll give you a special surprise.

The area around north campus features several ethnic restaurants such as Indian, Thai, and Middle Eastern cuisine. You'll run out of money long before you've run out of places to eat. Don't forget to get ice cream and go for a walk around campus to work off those extra unwanted calories.
